Just purchased a PS3 on a whim, I was looking for people's opinions on their favourite games, also some websites to find good bargains, the games seem very expensive at first glance...

Go into your user control panel, at the top of the page, and turn off your swear filter. This place will become a whole lot clearer.

Apparently Metal Gear Solid 4 is good. But you'll probably have to buy the first three to fully understand it too.

I played and completed 2, couldn't get into 3 with it's stupid boss's but I understand the story, I've bought the ps3 with Force Unleashed, which I can't wait to play.

If you like racing games you must buy Ferrari Challenge. Best racer this gen. Also check out GT5P. MotorStorm is available on Platinum now too.

I feel like GTA4 is gonna get a price drop soon, so I'm gonna wait a little bit, I've managed not to play it till now, a few weeks won't hurt. I did manage to find MGS4 for £30 from gameplay.com

It better get a price drop. Saw it in Gamestation recently, STILL £44.99. Games are meant to come out new for £39.99 at most!

If you have an xbox, then only get the games left in the quote above, other games might be cheaper on the xbox.

Be sure to get R&C and Uncharted.

I think Uncharted and Ratchet are both platinum now, so definately look into those.

Check out some of the PSN titles too:
- Any of the PixelJunk games
- Super Stardust HD
- Everyday Shooter
- Warhawk
