Reason given:

BBC wrote:"In future there will be less space on BBC Two for comedy/entertainment panel shows so sadly Shooting Stars won't be returning. We'd like to thank Vic and Bob for everything they've brought to the channel over the years."

Angelos Epithemiou should be given his own spoof reality/fly on the wall show.

I genuinely think he works in the shoe repair shop in Paisley.

Ah, it had its moments.
...
Well, Angelos was funny anyway. Hope that character doesn't die with the show.

Real reason: We can't afford to make any other shows because we've given all of our budget to Ricky Gervais.

There's already an Angelos show coming to Channel 4 soon. He was talking about tickets for the recordings fairly recently, so that's something to look forward to.

I did this by severing my real arms and replacing them with super-human cyborg arms.

It was a little disappointing. It had some really good moments, but I get the feeling he's better as a supporting character.

I thought you said it was a Caburys Flake?
I thought it was, but I made a mistake.

BBC gives people less of what they want, makes more gooseberry fool shows like Lee Nelson's Well Good Show. :fp:

Watched quite a bit of the newer series over the Christmas period, still sucks that they're not renewing it :(
