It was dreadful, I don't know why people are raving about it.

I like what they did at the end of the episode. Hopefully it will get better for here on in.

Watched the new episode and it's a huge set-up for a final effects filled bonanza.

It's so stupid - but that was still one of the their better episodes

Enjoyed it again this week. Such a shame it’s about to finish. I’m concerned that they will just succeed next week and the Klingons will just go ‘oh my god, quick retreat’. Then next series everything will be hunky dory and the federation will have just recovered all their lost space.

I can't see how the Federation can work with the Klingons for quite a while after they've killed so many civilians and none-military related people.

Yeah i thought this as well. Maybe they haven't perfected the ability to time jump accurately but Stamets told the admiral that jumping into the middle of the planet was a piece of piss (i think that was the exact words) so maybe he can now jump with accuracy and that may apply to time as well.
One other thing i didn't think of when watching the show was why did the Admiral want Lorca as soon as they teleported to the discovery. I assume there's something else in that which may bring in the prime universe lorca being a live or something.

I assume the time travel aspect can only be activated with a huge explosion that risks the entire network so not something they would want to do again.
They have Captain Killy anyway so defeating the Klingons should be a piece of piss.

Time travelling makes a mockery of many a shows in the end.

What hurts the most is big reset button that usually comes after the timey wimey shenanigans.
Voyagers best arc was completely killed by it.

The ending of that episode was so strawberry floating stupid. What could possibly go wrong with that assignment.

I like the pace of this show. They really squeeze as much out of the episode as they can.

The episode started off pretty good. It kinda got worse as it got further into it.
We need alternate universe costume Tilly back.

We need a surprise visit by Sisko in the Defiant and Picard in the Enterprise D.
I'm sure they can explain it somehow. Maybe Q could be involved.

Discovery would be infinitely improved by a John DeLancie appearance.

So finale....pretty crap. SO many bums on show though
Pretty bad as finale...very limp as well. Little action, drama, fights - some overly sincere moralising it hasn't earned presented and climax of storylines...
I think the problem is (and I've said it before IIRC) the writers have got a series of plot points, shocking moments or "scenes" they want - but have no idea how to connect or context them into an ongoing story.
That nostalgia bait though!

Just catching up on the last few episodes and yeah if you're on about the big fight in episode 13 then that looked pretty bad
