What, no DS9 at all?

DS9 does not lend itself as easily to watching single episodes out of order.

Yep, it's the same with Battlestar Galactica in that technically you can watch single episodes but it really only works as a whole series viewing experience.

I’ve just started BSG, but knowing how it ends already(I hate that kind of twist) is really putting a dampener on what is a really enjoyable tv show.

I wouldn't say the ending has any impact in what is otherwise an awesome journey.
Yes, some of the reveals are a bit of a disappointment but even the last episode has some deeply poignant moments and I think by that time you'll love the characters so much that even an ending with some flawed moments is an event worth watching the entire series for.

You're in for a hell of a ride :D .

BSG had an amazing ending! Best sci-fi ending ever.

In fact, even though only four seasons long, when you factor in Razor, The Plan ( )and Blood & Chrome, I think BSG is my favourite sci-fi series - much better than star trek!

It's certainly a great showcase for a series having a strong story and leaving before they have to start chucking in loads of filler episodes.

It's why I now prefer series with limited but high quality episodes. Travelers is another good example with only 34 episodes but a full and amazing story.

Really enjoyed the first episode of season 2. Much more in tune with the older series. Humour, drama, action, hopefully this continues for the season.

Burnham was more likeable in this one episode than the entire first season.

I am holding judgement till we get a good part way through but ep1 was okay. They even brought in a new character that made me hate him more then the existing cast.

More Tilly is a win

I like that a guy died and nobody gave even a single gooseberry fool. They didn't say one word to mourn him and didn't even bat an eyelid when he kicked the bucket.

To be fair, he was really annoying, and everyone hated him.

I agree he was a total utter banana split but come on not even saying "Oh Bugger, He strawberry floated that up!" is a bit harsh.

Also, that contraption they used to catch the asteroid -

“Everyone clear!”

But they barely had time to get clear themselves!

Return episode was okay but found it a little boring. Felt more like a mid season filler episode.

I have something embarrassing to admit. I watched S1 Ep13 (when it was first available) and thought that was the finale. Not sure why, must have been a moment of stupidity.

Anyway, catching up and on the finale now. Utterly dull though. I feel this series should have ended when I thought it did.

Looking forward to S2 though, heard a lot of good things about it from my IRL geek friends.
