Looks like a really fun change.

Hopefully it will mean that some of the progress you make in the story and side missions will go to supporting combat, unlocking new moves, party companions, and summons, rather than having combat tied to its own separate progression system you can either grind early on to be overpowered throughout, or neglect it, and wind up stuck later on in the story because you've not unlocked enough moves.

I'm glad the Yakuza series has maintained the juxtaposition between serious and stupid in its genre transition.
