I love the turn-based system, and loved ichiban so this is great news for me.

Excited for Lost Judgement too. Although i still need to finish the first game.

Is the Legendary Hero edition worth it over the basic edition or are all the extras useless guff?

Apparently not. (One set of the bonus classes makes the game too easy.) I went without any of the paid for DLC and had a great time regardless.

Thanks, I wondered if that would be the case. So many "Gold" editions just seem to solely consist of cheat items nowadays.

Strap yourself in :toot: I feel like I say this with every Yakuza release :slol: but this really was one of the best stories going. Easily up there with Judgment.

Just a thought to ask.

Have they remastered any Yakuza games for PS5?

They’ll probably get around doing them in the future.

Started this over the weekend (I am on Chapter 4) as it was free with the monthly PS Games, not really my cup of tea with the long cutscenes and dialogue, but the plot is good so that is keeping me in it, besides its a nice game to just play in a chill way on the sofa with my legs across.

So far a bit on the easy side, I am playing on Normal mind you, I am predicting some big difficulty spikes soon in the game, as I encountered a group of baddies that were 5 levels above me and they trashed me.

Combat reminds me of the Persona Series but simpler.

I think what is keeping me in it, is the mix of the seriousness of the plot and ridiculous whacky side quests. I just had to beat a boss in diapers and celebrated by drinking baby formula ... wtf! :slol:

Thats not even the first time in the series that something like that happens. I've played 0-6 and decided to stop there, but one of the best descriptions of the games is like a Martin Scorcese film where random parts of the script are swapped out for Simpsons epsiode b-plots.

Out of curiosity what internet speed do you have? or are you on a wireless connection?

Because I rarely have to wait over 10 mins for a game to be ready to play... and I've seen some people complain about games taking too long to download

My normal speed is around 8mbps.

However, i don't have the PS4 running for long each day (some days i don't even turn it on at all), and i often have youtube uploads running which can take up a lot of bandwidth.
