Hmm, I think I will get one more game this week as both Borderlands and Wolfenstien are pretty cheap atm.

GRID - £3.74
Osmos - £2
Secret of Monkey Island: SE - £1.74
Evil Genius - £1.74
QuantZ - £2

Total for November = £11.22 + £446.34 = £457.56

Left for Year = -£1503.27

Down on last months total, but still insanely high, December will see an almost total drop off in my game spending, likely to be under £75...which will still put me close to £1600 over budget for a total spend of just under £2800 for the year.

Ordered myself a copy of Borderlands for £16.95 (£1 off voucher) At zavvi!

Opening Balance -£3.55
Spent £16.95
Left -£20.50

I could still break even if I really wanted to, but I can't be strawberry floated with any more selling this year!

Just to let people know that if they want to sign up early for next year, I've started 2010 early for all of us to start putting in our names & budgets. :)

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=15020

Also I've won few things off Ebay, I'll include these once they arrive.

As I've just got the PAL version of Rock Band 2 (to replace my US import) I've added £20 to my PSN account to start buying (and re-buying) some songs.

Thanks for everyone's support with this and I hope it's been good. I know I've certainly learnt something and I want to apologise if I took some peoples comments too seriously (Sorry Jiggerjay). I've not been having a great time in recent months and maybe reacted in the wrong way.

Anyway..... keeping your spending down is not going to be suitable for everyone. I'd imagine a lot of people on here have a decent amount of disposable income (you know who you are!) and can buy as many games as they like (I used to spend enormous amounts of money when I was young and had no commitments - and still do to some extent even now). I only really set this thread up for myself as I knew I spent more than I should on games (and still do) but I'm glad other people have joined in and the Thrifty Thread is going to continue.

Seven, good luck running this next year (I may even sign up yet myself)

Hey Marillion Col, got some bad news. Due to the Steam sale, I spent a good £40. I also spent £55 on FIFA and MW2. That £95 puts me in negativeville, especially as my starting budget was £120.

I think I also bought Motorstorm 2 since the last time I reported in. That'll be another £20 spent. No point totting my total up for me, just put a massive fail next to my name.

Thanks, it's great idea for the community and you did great job of doing this year, it has helped people to realise how many they've spent as well learning how to save their money better. :)
