Rams choked it.

49ers into the playoffs. Saints aren't. :(

Patriots playing the late game Saturday night means its gonna be a long one for me!

Doing out an NFL playoffs food bracket again this year, whoever makes the superbowl, thats what I make for game snacks /dinner that day

Packers - Beer Brats
Eagles - Philly Cheesesteak
Tampa Bay - Cubanos
49ers - ?
Cowboys - Texas Style BBQ/Chili
Cardinals - Chimichangas or similar
Rams - In N Out Burger/Burrito/Taco

Titans - Memphis Ribs
Patriots - Lobster Roll/"louies Lunch" burger/New Haven Pizza
Bills - Wings
Steelers - Primanti Brothers Sandwich/Bottle of Heinz
Chiefs - KC BBQ
Bengals - Skyline style chili
Raiders - Wheel of fortune

The Raiders are the interesting one here, theres no "classic" vegas or Nevada regional foods that I can see but you can get absolutely anything in Vegas so Im thinking if the Raiders make it to the Superbowl I make a wheel (yes a physical wheel) with the other foods on it, except whoever their opponent is, spin it, and make whatever it lands on.

Also not sure what to make for 49ers. could be anything from dumplings to chili or burritos, again no strong SF only foods from what I can see but that could allow for some flexibility

:toot:

Went with potstickers in the end, it could have been anything, seafood, burritos, noodles. Theyre not gonna make it anyway so why not say Im gonna make hideously complicated dumplings!

They can do it again this year.

I think we will see a repeat of last years Superbowl. Titans are the only team I can see upsetting that to be honest but I think KC will have too much for them. Brady definitely looking good for another ring, its absolutely insane that hes still this good.

Indeed. The Bucs, I think, have a good all-round package in the squad.

I am little surprised about the 49ers last night and it seemed like the Rams blew it in the last two games against them twice.

The Cowboys

I haven't really kept up with the NFL this season. I used to watch the NFL Show and NFL This Week pretty religiously, but two programmes a week was annoying, as was the awkward timeslot, and Mark Chapman leaving didn't help either. Consequently I just scan the scores each week and that's about it. I'll still watch the Superbowl, as I always do, and I've caught the odd game on Monday night on Channel 5, but it's just annoying to keep up with the coverage on the BBC.

Pleased to see the Packers doing well, but I don't think they'll go all the way unfortunately.

NFL Food Bracket update:

NFC
Packers - Beer Brats
Tampa Bay - Cubanos
49ers - Potstickers
Rams - In N Out Burger

AFC
Titans - Nashville Hot Chicken
Bills - Wings
Chiefs - KC BBQ
Bengals - Skyline Chili

NFC emerging as the clear front runner in the food stakes, but even then its really only the Bengals dragging down the AFC. Looking at the potential matchups the AFC will be bringing spice it looks like with only KC not delivering heavy on the scovilles. The NFC is a much more eclectic offering, American classics like hot dogs and burgers feature but theres heavy cultural influence from Asia and Latin America as well. Skyline chili with a side of potstickers is still a possibility, not typical game day fare but then we could get hot dogs and wings just as easily, still think its most likely to be Cubanos and KC BBQ, a repeat of last year and something I would be pretty happy to be tucking into.

Must be a while since both top seeds have gone out at this stage of the playoffs, right?

Rams looking good.

Not sure what's going on with the Bucs. Wouldn't write them off with Brady just yet.
