I wonder who, if anyone, is airing this in the UK? The first one wasn’t shown, apart from a few minor bits and pieces on CNBC (also had golf and Jay Leno at the time). Not that it was very good, by all accounts.

Looks like ESPN(well BT) have the rights. It’ll definitely be on the ESPN player but as of yet BT haven’t disclosed whether they’ll be putting it on any of their channels.

I wouldn’t expect it to pre-empt any of their other shows tbf.

It’s on BT, KK. They were advertising the first matches during the Hamilton vs. Celtic game a while ago.

BBC One will be showing it tonight as well.

No I’m talking about the XFL - Vince McMahon’s nonsense league.

I was up for Shakira.

Whereas J Lo was just veering towards Madonna up a pole territory.

Wasn’t expecting this game to be as competitive as it’s turned out. Fan polls had 49ers way out in front.

Has been a very entertaining game so far. 49ers run game has been fantastic since an iffy first drive or two. Mahomes also looked nervous on the first drive but has delivered since. Couldn't call this either way.

On the half time show, maybe it's me but I find involving children in the midst of two very sexually charged routines a little bit odd.

EDIT: as I say that Mahomes nearly fumbles the ball and then throws an interception.

Good game, very enjoyable and no issues staying awake at all! Greta to see Andy Reid get a ring, could see how much it meant to him and everyone in the organisation, such a popular guy.

It’s far cheaper than trying to keep it going. Vince will likely buy the XFL rights back when the company is liquidated with the intention of trying a third time, however realistically he’ll be too old to try again I would imagine.

Does anybody think NFC South is getting harder?

New Orleans Saints - Drew Brees
Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Tom Brady
Carolina Panthers - Teddy Bridgewater
Atlanta Falcons - Matt Ryan

These four QBs are shaping up for a tough league, aren't they?

The NFC South always seems to be full of tough matchups, this year wont be any different. The QBs are good but it will all depend on the supporting casts and how they fare.

The Buccaneers are the new Pats.

Wonder if the NFL will cancel the UK games this year?

All the London games called off, along with Mexico. Will now be played in the US instead.

No surprise really, they wouldnt want to risk it with countries in and out of lockdown at different times to the US. The PR of flying in plane loads of people for a sports event would also have been a bit of a disaster.
