I benched Mahomes and Juju Smith-Schuster in favour of Brees and Keenan Allen/Cooper Kupp in my Fantasy League... Cost me 36 points and possibly this weeks matchup. Will need a great game from the Bears D to maybe win this week.
Josh Gordon is a Patriot, I have no idea how this will go but it reminds me of the Ochocinco trade, he never quite fit in and eventually faded away. It will be interesting to see how Gordon reacts to being on a team with a legitimate shot at winning.
Needed 15 points min to win my Fantasy League matchup. 6 Sacks, 1 Pick-6 and a Fumble Recovery gave me 17 points.
I recorded the game and watched it earlier this evening, was worried we were going to give another game away before that pick 6 in the 4th quarter. The defence was amazing, if the offence can get some consistency then I think this could be the makings of a decent team.

Yeah we made it a lot closer than we should have. Would like to see Howard involved more, but I suppose Nagy wants Trubs to start gelling with the new receivers.
Khalil Mack... what a player! He'll retire poor Sam Bradford this Sunday.
Really annoyed Sky Sports didn't show the Greenbay v Vikings game, I mean I watched the drama on Red Zone but poor form to not show a derby game. They rarely show the Vikings in general.

They try to cover every team at least once on Sunday every season, that means they make some very odd match choices some weeks. Im guessing the thinking is that the Vikes and Packers will be in the mix later in the season so they want to have the option to cover them in later weeks rather than showing them early in the season. It doesnt make a huge amount of sense but its the only reason I can think why they wouldnt show the rivalry matchups every week.
Baker Mayfield. Is he a real deal for the future as a quarterback?
Impossible to tell for at least 12 months. Even if he lights it up this season well have to wait and see how he does in his second year, thats when theres a good amount of tape on him and defenses will have had time to try and figure him out. So many QBs do well out of the gate and then just disappear, Derek Anderson, RG3, Matt Flynn, all examples of guys who had something special, until they got figured out.
Looks better than Tyrod though, and given how close they were in the last 2 games, it may well have been the difference they needed.
Not too worried about the Jets though, the Browns defence looked for real going into this game, and it was a short week on the road. That said the Jets may well be just starting this losing run, there are some really good defensive teams that are going to have a field day with Darnold, Jags, Broncos, Vikings, and Bears. With only the Colts in the middle of that, eesh this could get ugly
