The review of Little King's Story was terrible. I've never heard of this game so I didn't know anything about it. It took about a page for him to say what genre it was after he spent a whole paragraph talking about the title. Plus he's the fool who gave Red Steel 90.

The first para was only about 50 words long, and the review certainly wasn't 'terrible'. And yeah, the Red Steel mark was high, but that doesn't mean he's a bad writer, just that his taste isn't perfect. He's one of the best writers in the business.

I agree with HoC, his writing is one of the reasons that NGamer is such a brilliant magazine, just a shame it never gets the recognition it deserves.

From what I've heard it's a slightly different beast to the previous two, but probably closer in tone to the first.

Also Mori you suck. Matthew Castle FTW!

Castle's Hotel Dusk review made me quite averse to the guy in NGamer--and I haven't really been all that fond of subsequent reviews produced by him, largely because I don't find his works as entertaining to read as I did NGC journalists--but I can kind of detect his presence in Edge, and it isn't bad, there.

This might be a ridiculous question, but did he go to Oxford? He was wearing a Mansfield College hoodie, but I might be missing the point entirely.
