I have a horrible feeling this will die a death with the Switch launch, Zelda and Horizon in such a short period. :(

I picked up the Japanese version of this and will be streaming at 7pm, if anyone cares to watch.

Link is in my sig, but I still have a goddamn cough, so I won't have the chat on.

How are you finding the open worldness Jiggles? Seemed abit bland on one of the previews I saw.

Jesus Christ. That was 2 and a half hours?!

The open world stuff is a little bland, yeah. There's a lot of invisible walls and boxy buildings that you can't enter. But you can ninja run though it pretty quick, it has some nice scenery and the change of pace makes the game less exhausting to play than Platinum's usual stuff.

The game is strawberry floating amazing. The combat is wonderful and the seamless transition of gameplay styles is endlessly impressive. The setting is super cool and intriguing, and it's full of... Imaginative visuals. Stumbling into that robot orgy was certainly unexpected. I love it.

Looks great. I love the despondent atmosphere. Those robots that were scared, and asking you to keep back, which you slaughtered, as they were calling you cruel. Thanks for uploading the video. I'm picking it up on day one, but I wish Zelda wasn't so close, as I'll undoubtedly not get around to this until close to April, depending on how big Zelda is.

I don't know how the physical import cost compares to the digital, but it's about £50 from the Hong Kong store.

It's like it's Xenoblade with Platinum combat starring Aigis from Persona 3.

And the MUSIC. BAH GAWD

Shame its out a week after Zelda and Horizon and a couple of weeks before Mass Effect.

Its a release date to send a game to die on.

Well I'm hoping it can still get some recognition long-term.

I'm streaming again now for a while. Should be mostly side-quests, so low on spoilers.

Did well in Japan, sold 198,542 units in its first week (topping the weekly charts). Which is more than the LTD of the original Nier games for PS3 and Xbox 360 in Japan. Not likely to fare so well over here after the Switch launch, Zelda and Horizon, but I'm still really excited.
