So I actually got this on Switch, and a year after its release or so I’m starting to get into it and enjoy it despite some stiff difficulty and irritating monster design/placement. It’s really cute though. So adorably cute.

I have one question for those who went before me: dub or sub? I’m playing dub and Drippy’s voice is (yes) proper tidy, but everybody else’s is Bethesda levels and Oliver’s dub in particular makes me want to stab the game with a fork until he stops.

Just finished it last night actually - done some postgame content but tapping out now as I’ve dozens of other games I should move onto rather than ticking off bounty after bounty. Absolutely adored it though. Drippy is an all-time JRPG character great for me.

Dub it is! I’m not alone in thinking that Oliver’s awful though, right?

Also: the dungeons. Do they get any better? Just got the volcano and it’s a long slog through enemy after enemy with no discernible interesting features. :dread:

...and while I’m moaning, I hoped those face plates would be fast travel points. Gutted that they’re not! I want to go back to another city gosh darn it.
