I love this company! If the Digital Event is anything like this video we are in for a treat.

The Treehouse Live is apparently every hour of every day of the show live from Nintendo's booth.

I like the hype. I hope it means they are confident because they've games to show us.
I want to see Pilot Wings Wii U.

I'm not going to lie, before I saw the video I thought, isn't this a bit early to start an E3 thread? Then I realised it's only a month away (or just over)

Like Venom mentioned, do you think Nintendo are confident they have a ton of great stuff to show off this year? Does sound like an interesting way to show the games off

Can't blame them really for being confident, as MK will provide a relatively big sales boost just before the conference, so they'll be able to portray the U outlook a lot more positively.

Nintendo don't tend to show off titles until they're only a few months from release, and, as we don't really know much about their plans for the rest of the year, it should be very interesting.

I will probably avoid watching it live and just catch the headlines and reactions afterwards. I really want Nintendo to hit this one out of the park... but I feel they've disappointed on too many occasions in recent times.

I hope that I'll be pleasantly surprised and we'll hear and see news on previously unknown stuff like Mario Universe, Zelda Kingdoms, Pilotwings U, F-Zero U, Metroid Prime Generation (3D) and Metroid Dread (2D). Plus new console packs and a new Nintendo-branded external hard drive. Iwata to finish the presentation with stunning news about cheaper eShop prices and the launch of proper customer accounting on the Wii U.

That's the dream  .

But you're meant to get swept up in the excitement, it is the best part of E3. Yes, a lot of the time it doesn't live up to much (like the announcement of the Wii Fit girl in Smash Bros. last year), but there are normally some great reveals in there too (Nintendo Land).

For example, I have no interest in Smash Bros. or Bayonetta, so large chunks of the conference will leave me cold, but when they bring out Advance Wars 3DS, SNES remix and the new Mario Sunshine, I'll be straight on the hype train.

So out of this weeks big plays:
Xbox dig up some Atari cartridges.
Sony announce Driveclub release date.
Nintendo put out this video.

And yet somehow Nintendo win  Doubt there will be enough to turn me around on the Wii U. It is a dust machine. Just announce the new Zelda and release it this year, this is all I ask.

I wouldn't say Nintendo won anything, it's just a funny video.

but a release date for Drive Club isn't a win either since that should've been at release and Microsoft following a map isn't really a win either. I'd say that no shots have really been fired so far this E3 although the Smash Tournament is sick news.

People on GAF are starting to pick apart the video looking for clues now.

No. That's just silly, that's the OOT cart right?

EDIT - Someone at Nintendo has OOT cart on their desk, shocker.
