I am notoriously bad at buying stuff I already own. Bad memory being one part. I would assume that when I go to my Dads I own a lot of these again anyways as well I didn't have access to the ones at my Dads due to covid and so couldn't check what was there and some of them I just really wanted to play (Fire emblem Birthright I knew I had there amongst others)

Both copys of Yokai cost like sod all I know one copy was £2 and I think the other was around that ball park as well, I go in a lot of pawn stores and stuff. When I put the video up on TikTok that will have some explanation of how much some of them cost me and where from. The most I spent on any of those there in shot was £15 for Fire Emblem.

WarioWare Gold and Bravely Second are both fantastic games. I've got Pokemon Moon still on the 3DS going, I've not picked it up for a while with the Switch but I certainly won't be "archiving" that system. I haven't picked up the Xenoblade remaster either as I'm quite happy with it in 3DS.

"It should be common sense to just accept the message Nintendo are sending out through their actions."

I still have so much i want to play on my 3DS. I have not even started the Phoenix Wright trillogy (though i have played them on DS). I dont see the 3DS ever getting packed up for good. Its one of the beauties of handheld systems (the lack of space they take up and that they dont require a plug socket or HDMI port).
Plus i need to keep pumping those activity numbers up :datass:

I can't say I've played either of them yet tbh, but I'm looking forward to that eventuality. I want to get through a few FF games before I get in to the other JRPGs I have.

anyway good to see that I'm not the only one who picked up Dead or Alive on a whim for uh, reasons

To clarify, i have played all 6 mainline games, i just have not got round to replaying the origional trillogy that was "remastered" for the 3DS.

I really want to pick up Layton vs Wright, but the price just keeps going up (and the digital never gets a discount).

I had no idea this even existed. I've only played the first game on the DS, but I really enjoyed is, so I might have to get the download version (it's only £25).

The Ace Attorney Trilogy has previously been on sale in the eShop for as low as £8, Ad. Alas, the last time was over a year ago so Capcom may not be reducing their 3DS pricings any more.

Yeah, i was about to say the same (i picked it up for £8). Looking at the PSPrices cost over time curve, it hasn't seen a sale of over a year now (edit - sorry Jawa, you said exactly the same thing). It used to be on sale about every 3 months for a year or two.

But the games are great, and excellent value for money at full price. They are also available for Switch, but the 3DS feels more comfortable to me (i would have bought the forthcoming Great Ace Attorney games on 3DS instead of Switch if it had been an option).

Ah ok thanks. I didn't realise the switch one was like that too, I might get that version then as my wife will love those games.

I would like to briefly contribute that the Ace Attorney 'HD' collection looks horrible and also bugs up Rise from the Ashes no end. Not worth playing if you have the originals IMO.

Is the 3ds version better then?

Is that the HD collection on Switch or the 3DS release (which im guessing isn't actally known as a HD collection but who the hell knows anymore)? Or both?

the handheld itself might not take up much space, but when youve got a collection like i do space does become a problem

Buy a few of those cases that can hold 24 games each (or something like that) and throw all your origional boxes away. Problem solved.

I think it's the same 'HD' collection everywhere. I played it on iOS. Of course they might have fixed the RftA bugs in some places.

I cant even spell original. No wonder i have such disdain for the boxes.

I dont really - I try to get everything physical to this day for my precious boxes. Even if manuals were the special bit really
