I got it and played it twice, as in switched it on twice. I thought it was really poor. Might be better with multiplayer of course.

I wouldn't play Four Swords Adventures on my own but I love it in multiplayer. The battle mode in Tri-Force Heroes really interests me too, I love the battle mode in FSA

I got into one game recently and all this one banana split did because I accidentally picked the bear suit was pick me up and throw me off a cliff repeatedly until it was game over, then celebrated with Pom-poms and thumbs up when I was dead.

What's the strawberry floating point waiting in a lobby for 10+ minutes if all you're going to do is be picky about getting matched with other players who have basically finished the game already. Arsehole.

So I did another level with the stand-in golem doppelgänger things and it was.. OK.

Real shame as I still want to play the game properly, it's designed really well, it just needed to have a 2 player plus AI option or something like that.

Need to try getting through Federation Force as well, was actually paired with players on that last time I tried.

I have about 14 physical 3DS games and at least 10+ downloads. The DS backwards compatibility and GBC/SNES downloads makes the library ridiculous.

Personally I prefer the sharper display on full 3D (usually just under) and the newest screens really pop, it's a great system and I really think it got too much gooseberry fool for its display resolution which is the same pixel density as an old iPad or something like that, it's fine.

FSA was actually not terrible in single-player.

You can't play it in 2 player, I mean, which is how I played Four Swords. Two player is easy to organise for me, three player is near enough impossible. Not really interested in playing it in single player.

Maybe we could get some GR games of Triforce heroes going at some point?

Started playing Metroid: Samus Returns tonight, it’s good to be playing 3DS again. I ended up buying a 3DS grip and it makes it all a lot more comfortable to hold for extended periods.

Some of the post-game quests I'm pretty sure require 3 players because it's just impossible on your own.

I wonder what the Venn diagram for 3D usage on the DS and VR enthusiasm looks like.

A perfect circle that occasionally splits into two overlapping, slightly blurry circles when you look at it wrong.

The stable 3D on the new models is generally really good though. It even works in the dark where it can barely see your face because it uses an IR camera.

Ah Shinobi, Steel Diver, these games we bought before Nintendo started properly supporting the 3DS

I was just being glib, I actually used the 3D a lot more when I upgraded from my XL to a New. It works remarkably well!

Oh I know, I'm honestly a bit surprised how many people think it's worthless, there's something really punchy about that screen, it's more impressive than most other devices I have even if the resolution is low. Games are so colourful.

Even launch titles liker Super Street Fighter IV 3D are still great looking games (although the background characters being totally frozen is a bit odd).

I got a cheap copy of WWE All Stars for 3DS and had a quick go this afternoon, it’s basically the 360/PS3 version just with a bit more toned down graphics. To make up for that though it has all the paid DLC included in this version. Plays great as well, will give some of the Fantasy Warfare stuff a go later.

I manage to get one of those Bravely Second Limited Editions when they popped back up and it's a lovely set.
