Unlocked the extra-long activity log...? Is it some kind of expanded version of the standard log, Tineash?

When you fill up the software library, extra pages get added.

Quick question: have we heard whether Ultra Sun and Moon are 'proper' sequels yet?

I haven't started Sun yet, and was thinking about starting in in September, so am avoiding all Ultra news to avoid potential spoilers.

No idea, I've tried to work this out myself.

I believe it's getting a lot of coverage at Gamescom, so we should hopefully find out soon :toot:

What do you mean? I've had mine since launch and played a shitload of games but never been aware of anything unlocking.

The SNES Virtual Console on New 3DS is the best thing ever!

I haven't enjoyed gaming this much in years :)

Downloaded 2 rare classics last night - Demons Crest and Castlevania X!

I must admit that I, too, don't quite see what has been unlocked. When you have played a few games the pages flip over to allow for new ones... but I"m not sure if Tineash is suggesting that something more than that is happening.

Tempted to pick up a New Nintendo 2DS XL, really like the look of the black and turquoise model.

Anyone else have one?

I have the black and turquoise model, and I absolutely love it. My favourite Nintendo handheld in a long time. It looks cool, is super-light, and has amazing games. I infinitely prefer it to the 3DSXL which I also have, plus (and for me this is the most important thing), it plays SNES VC games!

AndyXL loves his SNES VC games

I've got a New 3DS XL but I'm tempted to get that special Pokemon edition 2DS XL they announced the other day.

I was thinking it might be quite daunting going back and forth between Switch and 3DS because of the screens but there are quite a few 3DS games i've not played yet

Gotta love my SNES VC games. That reminds me, I'm planning to buy the Donkey Kong Country trilogy on SNES 2DS VC this weekend :toot:

I would highly recommend the New 2DS.

I've had zero problem switching back for Fairune 2, Ever Oasis and (currently) Monster Hunter Stories.

But then I also happily dug out my GBC and played that a few months ago

Halp plz!!!

Ok, bit of an add one this and going by the lack of info I've found on Google it seems to be a rare one.

3DS (original model).

Removed the game card, turn on, blue power light comes on solid for about 3 seconds then there's a quick crackle /snap sound and it turns off. At no point does anything show on the screen.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like a power or capacitor problem. You probably need a new unit but you could try replacing the battery. You might be wasting your money though. Maybe pick up a 2DS.

Always get miffed at the dismissive comments made at the DKC sequels because of the lack of DK himself, 2 is by far the best of that trilogy
