I haven't started it yet. Curious to hear how you'd compare it to 2?

I actually enjoyed Phantom Hourglass. It seems to get shat on a lot now. I'm not sure how it holds up these days tbh.

At the time I loved PH. I said it was the best Zelda EVAR and then realised I was a tit saying about a minute later, but I did really enjoy it, it was a fun game.

well over all there way more stuff to do which is a plus, and having two characters to play as while i wasnt sure of a first did become pretty good there are quite a few new cool features and places to explore and while id say 2 had the better story i think 3 is probably the better game

Seen loads of good things said about these games and they do intrigue me! I have no experience with Yo-Kai at all. Would you recommend starting from the first game or does it not really matter where you start?

well i suppose you could start with any of the three, theres a couple references to the earlier games but nothing spoiler heavy dont think itd be hard to pick up on the characters backgrounds

hmm well two has the best story i feel, but three probably has the most stuff too do certainly the most yo-kai and places to explore so i guess three would work

Upcoming 3DS games

Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey - 25th January
Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn - 8th March

I’ll probably pick both up at some point if I find them cheaper later this year/next year.

I'm getting back into the 3DS scene, playing Animal Crossing and Miracle Mask, and I'm looking forward to seeing the final Etrian Odyssey title for the system, Nexus, arrive in February. Long live 3DS!

Good news Jawa! It's such as great system and I almost don't want it to die off! I find it such a charming little console! I'm always adding 3DS titles to my games wishlist

I absolutely adore my 3ds and find it gets far more play time than my Switch. When I'm done I can just good it closed and leave it close to hand confident that the screen won't get damaged even if it is not in a particularly secure storing area. This inturn leads to me picking it up far more often for a quick 10 minute session.... Which often ends up being an hour.

Have been padding out my library with 4 purchases across DS and 3DS titles this week.

(looks sadly at broken 3DS)

(hopes for widespread diversion of 3DS development resources to Switch this year)

(runs out of thread pursued by mob)

You need a Switch case KF!

I have one! But it's another thing to do before using it each time, and you must never underestimate how incredibly lazy I am...

Wait, so you don't even use a case for the 3DS? That was one of the first things I bought for mine before it gets chucked in my backpack whenever I take it out.
