Picked up a few titles in the Argos sale.
Looking forward to playing Zelda Triforce Heroes, but at the moment I only have my cousin who is online with the game. Anyone want to join in for a playthrough? I've no idea how good it is (mine hasn't arrived yet) but apparently the online is where it's at.

I'll be up for playing a bit of Tri Force Heroes it's a incredibly enjoyable multiplayer game.

Sounds great! I'm still waiting for my copy to arrive so I'll let you know.

It'll be casual, when we feel like it/have time rather than a rush to the finish, I hope that suits. If anyone else is up for it we could have a pool of people for a bit.

I'd also like to do some triforce heroes but I'm almost impossible to coordinate with. It is possible to solo it though.

Pretty much that. I love Kid Icarus Uprising but it depends on how you take the controls. I loved Bravely Second but you kind of had to sit through Default’s second half for it to make sense. I thought Sun/Moon were good Pokémon games, and if you haven’t played Luigi’s Mansion 3 then you should enjoy 2. You already know if you want the Ace Attorneys: 6 >>>> 4,5 incidentally.

Damn that's a good deal. I'd buy one just because the New 3DS XL I found in cashconvertsis pretty dinged up, but since it was clearly mispriced as a standard 3DS XL, I bought it anyway.

There are so many games for the system some of which can be had for very good prices. Really it depends what you would be interested in.

I had to sell my Switch just before christmas as i got an unexpected bill in and id just completed Super Mario Odyssey so i'll maybe give 3D land a shot first.

Link between worlds looks great as well. So many games available.

I think A Link Between Worlds is the best 3DS game. It's an absolute bargain at the moment.

Link between worlds is great, you should also try the N64 remakes which have things like gyro controls for aimed weapons added and interactive maps/item selection, but that might be too much zelda for you.

If you like strategy fire emblem fates and conquests is cheaper a few places than awakening was/is, they are slightly longer games but there's something special about awakening because it was so bloody good as one of the earlier games for the system so people were buying the console for it.

Samus Returns is excellent as well (warning though it's quite hard). Just metroid, Mario and zelda together would keep you happy for a few months probably.

I second Awakening. It's my second favourite game on the system, and the reason why I bought my 3DS.

It absolutely is (EDIT: @Squinty). Personal opinion for top five (non-port) 3DS games:

ALBW
Ace Attorney Spirit of Justice (but relies on Dual Destinies which ain’t as good)
Kid Icarus Uprising
Bravely Second (but relies on Default which ain’t as good)
Ever Oasis

with hat-tips to the top ports of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and Ocarina of Time (hush OR).

Don't worry about OR's opinion, he likes Skyward Sword. ;)

You mean like, "don't worry about it" because it's obviously correct so you don't need to be concerned by it?

+1 Ever Oasis

Thanks for the recommendations for games lads. Will just stick with MK7 for now until I decide on which games for me.

Is the dpad meant to wiggle a little bit? :shifty:

There's a little bit of give in them, nothing to worry about.

Yeah the gameboy and all DS console had travel on the dpad. One of the major complains for many dpads is the lack of it, so it feels spongey.
