Ordered Super Mario Maker 3DS & Miitopia together off ebay pretty cheaply. I don't know much about Miitopia but I figured I could sell it on and make Mario Maker cheaper.

I only wanted SMM3DS for the 100 Nintendo designed levels, as the lack of uploading levels (and my lack of friends :( etc.) makes the designing part of it a bit pointless.

Funnily enough I got Miitopia from a pawn store today for 8quid complete, figured either id like it or the other half would.

miitopia is surprisingly fun, give it a good chance before you do

Thanks! Will definitely give it a go. I have a massive 3DS backlog but will get round to it one day!

What are the chances! From Nintendolife's review it seems if you properly set up the Miis in your party to be people you know, it makes it way more entertaining.

Isn’t Miitopia the game Fisher uses to tell his story in the 3DS screenshot thread?

I also got Marvel super heroes universe in peril complete for 5quid and a cart only copy of Paper Mario Sticker Star for 4quid, just trying to get a few new bits and pieces to justify that new 3ds xl I got.

Miitopia is the RPG, I think Fisher uses Tomodachi Life.

Well another addition to my console/handheld collection I started building since Covid acquired..

Image

Got it off Ebay for £40 with Ocarina of Time (US version due to the 3DS being US) and Pokemom Rangers, which I bunged back on Ebay and got £22 back from. CFW'd so region free now and I'll actually play through Majoras Mask now for the first time :toot:

Nice

If you find somewhere selling majoras mask for anything close to a reasonable price, please let me know.

Yeah £28 (Of best offer so maybe £25-26) for the cart only on Ebay seems to be the cheapest I've seen or £30 from CeX with a case.

Or the filthy Garly way with Luma3DS/FBI for free :shifty:

That's a good entry in the Layton series... and an excellent buy for eight snoops!

Time can be weird. To me, 3DS does feel like about ten years ago, but the PS4 - at a mere seven years - still feels fresh.

3DS is still a fantastic little system, played through Samus Returns last year and the system is still great to play!

Looking at my 3DS backlog, this is what I have left to play through

ChibiRobo Zip Lash
Code Name S.T.E.A.M
Ever Oasis
Fantasy Life
Hey Pikmin
Little Battlers Experience
M&L Bowsers Inside Story
M&L Dream Team Bros
M&L Paper Jam Bros
Metroid Prime Federation Force
Monster Hunter Stories
Rhythm Paradise Megamix
Shinobi
WarioWare Gold
Yokai Watch
Yokai Watch 2: Psychic Specters

So, plenty to still play and that’s not including my DS backlog :shifty:

10 years... dam feels like only yesterday when I went to Toys R Us on launch day and picked up my Blue 3DS with Street Fighter, Nintendogs, Pilotwings and Ridge Racer.
Awesome little handheld with a fantastic list of exclusive titles, and add in the DS games it's a very affordable entry point into gaming with a rich library to choose from.

Without wishing to drag the thread down, this means it's nearly 10 years since my mum died, as my Mrs suprised me with a 3ds just days after to take my mind off it (which really helped). I think I got ridge racer and street fighter with it
