The Project Natal thing is just a glorified EyeToy with no more applications that mini-game compilations and this is all we're going to see, just as we did with the EyeToy and although they were fun, Motion+ and the Wii remote have applications that go beyond the mini-games

So the bloke playing Burnout with it was a big fat liar then....

If you really think that driving games are going to make use of it and be better than a normal controller...you are out of your mind.

He said mini games only and yet one journo said he played Burnout with it, that instantly disproves what he was saying.

I'm sure the point was that it'd only be good for minigames.

Stop being such a literal arse.

I've already proven you wrong once today don't make me do it again.

The guy who played Burnout said it worked and soon felt natural, he has actually played it and you haven't.

I've a report from a guy who played it too...it said something like he had no problems getting it to go in a straight line 'most of the time'. Not better than a standard controller then.

And you didn't prove me wrong about anything.

Oh I did with your denial of your casual comment :P

We'll see when built from the ground up Natal software appears, I suspect it will actually work.

Not saying it won't work, just saying I don't think it'll be better than a standard controller (let alone a proper wheel).

A racing game would work. Eyetoy: Antigrav was actually pretty cool, its just it worked because you were on a flying skateboard and leaned for movement. Im not sure how waving ones arms around as opposed to holding a steering wheel feels completely natural for driving a car. In driving one needs physical resistance or at the least something to grip.

Maybe the journo was an xbox fanboy

Do want.

Might get some others, too, depending on reviews.

Also, is there and news on when HG/SS are getting released?

Far too much '2010' and 'TBD'.

Good to see Layton, Endless Ocean etc.

Okay, Rik, but can you explain how it's any better than playing Burnout with a steering wheel peripheral and pedals?
