So from all the "insider" "leaks" what are we expecting?

More Wii U ports pls. Think we'll finally get a release date for Dragon Quest? :x

Missed this, sorry. Not sure which I’m more excited for: the Direct or the ensuing backlash.

3DS looking dead, not mentioned at all. Fire Emblem getting a showcase suggests it’s meeting its’ Spring window too. I’m expecting May.

In addition to the confirmed titles of Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Daemon X Machina insiders have suggested 2D Zelda, Pikmin 3, Mario Maker 2, Box Boy and Metroid Prime Trilogy are coming. Although no one has said they’ll necessarily be in the Direct.

10pm! A late one. Insanely hyped for Fire Emblem. Hope there's just one version and plenty of LE stock. More excited for this Direct than I have been for a while. There's a lot for Nintendo to lay out.

Think the last line of that post might be caused by the first eight... I’d be surprised if they showed a new 2D Zelda off here rather than E3, and I think Pokémon’s unlikely too. We might see some of the latter four.

Here's what I most want to see, in order:

2D Zelda
Animal Crossing reveal and given launch window
Fire Emblem to look a lot better than E3 trailer
Luigis' Mansion 3 on course for summer release
Retro game reveal (I suspect this will be saved for E3 though)

A Link Between Worlds was revealed in the 2013 April Direct. Nintendo don't care about saving stuff for E3 as much now they have their Direct format. Last year they could have saved Smash for E3 but announced it in a March Direct instead.

Pokémon is unlikely though because Game Freak do their own thing for reveals normally.

I changed the wording before you finished your post... but I’d still be surprised, and I think ‘expecting’ or even ‘hoping’ is setting yourself up for disappointment.

Look at the Balla edit dialing back on how sure he is 2D Zelda won't get revealed... :P

I don't think 2D Zelda is valued as much as 3D by Nintendo so has more chance of being revealed. A Link Between Worlds sold 2.5 million, compared to 11.5 million for Breath of the Wild (pulled from Wikipedia).

A bit of an unfair comparison, as Skyward Sword only did 3.5, but it makes my argument sound good and well reasoned so :shifty:

Bout time, least now it'll stop the internet guess when the next Direct will be.
Certainly will be watching, just hope they'll be a fair amount announce.

@OR:

 I realised I wasn’t sure, but I still think it’s mighty unlikely. And even if it wasn’t, I’d rather not set myself up for a fall.

Poor figures for a fantastic game in ALBW though.

I will watch the show.

My dreams:

> Metroid Prime Trilogy to release in May
> Animal Crossing to release in June
> Xenoblade Chronicles X to release in July
> Super Mario Galaxy: Double Pack (Galaxy and Galaxy 2) to release in August
> The Legend of Zelda: Double Pack 1 (Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker) to release in September
> The Legend of Zelda: Double Pack 2 (Twighlight Princess and Skyward Sword) to release in October
> Pikmin 4 to release in November
> Ridge Racer Complete (Switch exclusive) to release in November
> New Professor Layton game to release in December
> Themes; friend messaging; improved game time function; channels; Miiverse II... (available immediately after the Direct :toot: )

Yeah, a fair few remakes there but it's pretty impossible to guess new Nintendo titles and those ones above are games I'd love to see on Switch. Plus I'm excited for known stuff such as Final Fantasy XII and Dragons Dogma (both to release in April?).

Not going to make any predictions other than I hope we see Animal Crossing. Hyped for a direct as always though!

Coming this Summer, exclusive to Switch... Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival 2.
