Very good, it slumped a bit in the middle with all the JRPG stuff but tons of stuff to look forward to on Switch!

Still, No Metroid Prime Trilogy HD : (

Overall solid direct for 35 mins. I'm so happy Links Awakening is getting a new breath of life it deserves.

I hate the cutesy art style :dread:

I didn't like the way ALBW looked buy the game was great, plus links awakening is the greatest Zelda game ever

Yeah they're in the 2D underground sections of Link's Awakening.

Love the style of Link's Awakening. Not bothered by most the other new reveals.

New Platinum Games offer seems likely biased to multiplayer?

And why would anyone care about character customisation in Bloodstained?

Can anyone confirm if you need an online subscription to play Tetris 99?

Yeah I really dislike that art style.

A strong Direct by usual standards. I think Captain Toad DLC is probably what I’ll miss the most not having a Switch.

Tetris Battle Royale looks fun.
RUNE FACTORY 5!
Links Awakening looks fukken adorable

I adore the art style for LA. It's utterly gorgeous and it has a very charming childrens playset feel to it. Love it, day one.

But it was Mario Maker 2 for me. I'm going to dissect that trailer for the next hour to see what other new stuff is there.

What is ARMS.

1 game. Nintendo have indeed brought some new stuff to Switch, but barely enough to justify paying £280 for one, IMO.

Oh another one of those weirdos.

It's called a difference in opinion. strawberry float off.

I believe they said you can only get it if you have the sub. Be pointless having it if you can't play online as it's Tetris Battle Royale.

I was hoping one of the Final Fantasy games would be released shortly after the presentation - already checked the eshop to see if IX is up yet.

I like the way everyone moans about the lack of slopes so the very first thing they show is slopes galore.

Day 1.

No Luigi’s Mansion 3 news either, this is the most glaring omission alongside Animal Crossing in my opinion, thought these would both definitely be shown, now wondering if one or both have been delayed somewhat.

Slopes are the number 1 thing I was missing.

I would trade literally every game in this direct for Rune Factory 5.
