Shame Dead by Daylight looks so dreadful, would've been interested in it otherwise :dread:

Didn't get Mario Maker first time around, might do this one though...

Fell asleep during the JRPG sections, doesn't interest me in the slightest...

Will try out the demo for DxM, and Astral Chain looked relatively intriguing, so there's enough to digest (on top of the bits we already know are coming)...

This evening... :datass:

I would say that anyone expecting F-Zero now and not at E3 only has themselves to blame for their disappointment... but I’d have said the same thing about 2D Zelda. It’s all Nintendo’s fault, dropping absolute nukes in February.

Yeah it did look strawberry floating terrible both visually and performance wise. The little they showed of Assassins Creed 3 looked like it was running really badly as well.

Was a great Direct. Mario Maker isn’t my bag but that’s going to be a big summer release for them.

Extra Captain Toad content is great, looking forward to that. Intrigued by Smash V3 too, sounds like it could be a bit more to it than just the Joker pack. More Starfox in Starlink may push me to take the plunge as it’s only £20 now. Looking forward to trying the Daemon X Machina demo too.

Fire Emblem looks like it has potential but I don’t think I’m sold on it yet. Need to see more of the battling.

As always, disappointed by no Retro and Prime Trilogy HD. Would have been nice to see Animal Crossing and Luigi’s Mansion 3 but I’m happy enough knowing their coming

Astral Chain was a fantastic surprise. I thought we’d see something from Platinum but it looked great. Also, Link’s Awakening

Their schedule from June onwards is going to be really strong.

Using Jawa's list, so thanks Jawa!

Definite

Super Mario Maker 2 - Loved Mario Maker, sequel looks to be everything I wanted
Captain Toad Treasure Tracker - My girlfriend has the game, now we can play through it co-op with some new content to boot!
Dragon Quest Builders 2 - Loved the first game on Vita, and the sequel has co-op!
Starlink: Battle for Atlas - Already own and completed the game, I am in for more Star Fox! Races look very cool too
The Legend of Zelda - Link’s Awakening (Remake) - Yeah this is probably my favourite game ever

Maybe

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order - Had lots of fun with MUA2 so provided this gets a good reception, I'm up for it
BoxBoy + BoxGirl - Never played BoxBoy but could be fun co-op
Dragon Quest XI S - Never played through a proper Dragon Quest but they remain forever tempting
Oninaki - Not played I Am Setsuna or Lost Sphear, but this does look good
Yoshi’s Crafted World - I skip most of the Nintendo 2D platformers but I'll definitely give the demo a go
Fire Emblem: Three Houses - Leicester Alliance  Not much of a Fire Emblem fan but played a couple
Tetris 99 - Tetris Battle Royale  Will definitely get the demo, I do already own Puyo Puyo Tetris on Switch though
Daemon X Machina - Looking shiny
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice - Been wanting to play this but not got round to it for a long time, Switch might make that easier providing its a good port
Unravel 2 - Also been meaning to play Unravel and Unravel 2 for a long while, especially 2 for the co-op
Final Fantasy VII - One day I should play this game

No Interest

Super Smash Bros Ultimate
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night
Disney Tsum Tsum Festival
Rune Factory 4 Special
Rune Factory 5
Dead by Daylight
Deltarune
GRID Autosports
Mortal Kombat 11
Assassins Creed III Remastered
Final Fantasy Chocobo Missions
Final Fantasy 9
Astral Chain
Bayonetta 3

Seriously that's a better outcome than plenty of E3 presentations

Toad Treasure Tracker paid DLC
Dragon Quest Builders 2
Starlink: Battle for Atlas DLC
The Legend of Zelda
BoxBoy + BoxGirl
Dragon Quest XI S
Oninaki
Yoshi’s Crafted World
Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Tetris 99 - Tetris Battle Royale
Daemon X Machina
Final Fantasy VII
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night - not so bothered anymore but I did back it on Kickstarter 9 years ago...
Final Fantasy 9
Astral Chain
Bayonetta 3

Maybe
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order - Had lots of fun with MUA2 so provided this gets a good reception, I'm up for it
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice - I think I'd rather play this on a more powerful console
Unravel 2
Super Smash Bros Ultimate DLC
Rune Factory 4 Special
Rune Factory 5
Final Fantasy Chocobo Missions
Deltarune - I need to play Undertale first

No Interest
Disney Tsum Tsum Festival
Dead by Daylight - looked like ass
GRID Autosports

Plus we know we are getting Luigi's Mansion, a proper Pokemon game, Animal Crossing and hopefully Bayonetta 3 this year. That's a superb line up

I've never particularly enjoyed the Yoshi games, but damn that Recorder Theme Tune is catchy as hell.

Okay fine, full list:

Definite:

Final Fantasy IX
Dragon Quest XI
Smash Bros. Ultimate v3.0
Bloodstained
(as a backer)
Daemon X Machina (not fussed about the demo. though)
Astral Chain
Link’s Awakening
Hollow Knight: Silksong
(I be cheating, but it looked so good that it deserves to be mentioned here)

Probably but Depends on Review Scores:

Yoshi’s Crafty World

Maybe, Kind of in Order of Probability:

Okinaki (Lost Sphear was bobbins, this looks better)
Rune Factories 4/5
Unravel 2
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker DLC
(I got my fill on the Wii U, so this’ll depend on how extensive the DLC is)
Final Fantasy VII (will it feel too old nowadays?)
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 (if The Lady fancies the co-op.)
BoxBoy + BoxGirl (ditto, she likely won’t mind)
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice

Not For Me But I Appreciate What They Did:

Super Mario Maker 2
Dragon Quest Builders 2
Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Mortal Kombat 11
Starlink: Basically We’re Starfox Now
Disney Tsum Tsum Festival
(I know people who will be all over this)
Tetris 99
Deltarune
(belting but I’ve played it already)
Bayonetta 3

Not For Me and I Can’t Imagine Why Anyone Else Would Want It:

Assassin’s Creed 3
Dead by Daylight
Final Fantasy: Chocobo Missions
GRID Autosports
(surely if you’re into this genre you already have Forza or something?)

Push Off:

Smash Bros. Ultimate Joker DLC

Urgh, those are low expectations, no reason why DMC 5 couldn't run on Switch.

I just really love the aesthetic of DmC.

And Metroid Prime collection.

And DmC release for switch... :shifty:

EDIT: AND FOUR SWORDS PLEASE.

And can everyone please stop getting me excited, I have a real life to lead too

I swear people fear new software

My expectations were low, yes! I think I'm just institutionalized to ports (partly because I never played many the first time round so am usually happy for the porting!) - but pleased with the outcome!

LA, Astral Chain and Hellblade were all appreciated.

I also immediately bought FFIX :fp:

I also immediately got the demo of Daemon Ex Machina and it seems naff to me :| Oh well.

What do we think the odds are they'll modify the captain toad demo so that you can try the co op mode if you don't already have the game?

Sub prices isn't that bad at £16 a pop or better with a family sub if you can get 3 others to split the £25 (I think on CDKeys)

Very impressive presentation and that isn't including games like Animal Crossing, Luigi's Mansion, Pokemon 2019 and other third party stuff yet to be announced.
So many cool looking titles, and it kept the announcements coming thick and fast, only disappointment was no Metroid Prime Trilogy HD.

As a few others have done a list of what’s a must/maybe/never buy list I figured I’d do the same,

Must buys,
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order
Grid Autosport
The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening (remake)
Bloodstained: Ritual of The Night (I backed this years ago, however while waiting for it I’ve kind of gone off it but there’s not much I can really do about it at this point other than get it and potentially sell it)

Maybe,
Super Mario Maker 2
Yoshi’s Crafted World
Deltarune
Assassins Creed 3/Liberations remastered
Captain Toad
Astral Chain, looks interesting so I’ll keep an eye on this one.

Not interested enough in the rest to consider buying any of them in the future.
