It's the highest intensity on the Japanese scale. At least 8 dead and 40 missing so far.

Add in the mudslides and general loss of power to a lot of people and you can certainly see why is been postponed.

If it is just because of the earthquake, it won't be because it's directly affected Nintendo I would imagine. I'm between Kyoto and Hokkaido and I never felt anything. There won't be any damage from the quake there. The typhoon, however, did hit Kyoto and Osaka pretty hard, passing almost directly overhead.

It's probably more a case of postponing it untik a better time for their home customer bass, i.e. not immediately after a quake or a week when a lot of people in Japan have had other stuff to deal with.

Disaster: Day of Crisis switch port to be announced?

Can't argue with the delay anyway, it's a sensible decision

They probably had nothing to show anyway. Apart from a few games, the switch has been a disaster for gamers. The novelty of playing last gen games on a handheld is wearing off.

I would rather nintendo focused on making proper game experiences for us rather than jazzing up wii u titles, which were largely average like smash and toads trackers.

As for there still being more 3ds games, surely nintendo should ditch it and focus solely on the wii u.

Once sony ditched psvita, their ps4 exclusives improved drastically to the point where it is a must have console for any gamer out there. Nintendo need to follow suit and ditch the last gen handheld. To me it seems like they still aren’t sure the switch will be a massive success. Anything compared to the wii u is a success, but they should be comparing themselves to sony.

I know this is probably a misstype but it sounds as reasonable as the rest of your post

Ignoring that nonsense...

I'm disappointed but not in Nintendo, it's understandable. Hopefully those who go missing with be rescued soon, horrible considering the past event.

Think they're gonna put it on hold and will give out new date when things settle down, yeah.

....they are focused on the Switch.

The 3DS game in development are by small, minor teams and tend to be simple, cheap ports.

Some hot takes from Gamerforever :slol:

It seems it's been delayed by 1 week so should air next Thursday at the same times instead (The Splatoon 2 update also looks like it's been postponed a week)
