Nintendo Direct - Coming Soon

Perhaps it contains such a major megaton that when someone at Nintendo HQ was watching it, the earth actually shook? :shock:

If the stand on the switch wasn't so flimsy, it wouldn't have fallen over and none of this would have happend.

Nintendo should do the decent thing and pull out of the console business.

Tbh, Sony should get some kind of award. The PS4 is the only console with gaems.

I don't see anything wrong with the Wii U ports at all, they just shouldn't be as prominent in their first party line up as opposed to brand new games. I get that the Wii U didn't sell anywhere near as well as they hoped so the games never reached their full potential in their eyes/sales figures but they really should accompany the new games on the Switch rather than be the main focus. For people who had a Wii U and played most of the games already I have very little incentive to rebuy them again despite how much I enjoyed some of the time first time round! (An exception would be Mario 3D World as that was fantastic).

Once sony ditched psvita, their ps4 exclusives improved drastically to the point where it is a must have console for any gamer out there. Nintendo need to follow suit and ditch the last gen handheld. To me it seems like they still aren’t sure the switch will be a massive success. Anything compared to the wii u is a success, but they should be comparing themselves to sony.

I'd say the Switch has actually reformed me into an actual gamer again and has shown the way forward for everyone else. Meanwhile my PS4 is getting very little player, its just so much less convenient.

I understand it been delayed but hopefully not too long as I still waiting on that info on the paid online

Randos on Twitter are so awful. I don't think they're representative of the average person who enjoys games (& talking about games). But it's a shame that the minority who are like that are so loud and obnoxious. Wish they would shut up and get some perspective.

If they really wanted to (and the timeline meant they needed to) they could probably cover most of the online information via a press release, I mean it'd be better in a direct where you could see it in action, examples of how a feature might benefit a certain game but it probably wouldn't lose much if they just dropped it on their website. Or even just the online segment trimmed from the direct could be uploaded? As long as we get the news probably around a week before the paid online actually launches it'll be fine time wise in my opinion, obviously if it's releasing early next week for example then a press release would be welcomed.

They seemingly can't for some reason though, a direct which didn't officially exist (to most people anyway) until a few hours before the earthquake struck has ruined their fun and they seem to want Nintendo to make it right somehow rather than just waiting a few more days for the direct to get shown.

I guess I'll just have to wait longer to be disappointed. :toot:
