But where is my Switch port of pocket card jockey

Ha yeah I always wanted to get into Pocket Card Jockey after enjoying the 3DS demo. Am glad Game Freak get to make other non-Pokémon things, though selfishly I would rather they make another action game instead ala Pulseman/Drill Dozer/Harmoknight

Bit disappointed Yo-Kai Watch 3 didn't get announced, was hoping they'd speed up the releases with the impending Switch game.

And what was that 100x Splatoon 2 Turf mode about... eager to know more...

Wonder what the Japanese Direct had that we didn't.

Hmm. I have to say, that was disappointing. Not sure I’m interested in anything they showed. :(

Really enjoyed that, fair play to them Nintendo that was a solid display.

I'll be all over those Final Fantasy releases, I might finally be able to get somewhere in XII this time! And I adored Luigi's Mansion back on the GC so it will be fantastic to see it back on Switch. :toot:

Is that Starfox game a U port? I'm guessing it's not up to much as nobody seems to be making a fuss about it?

It's part of an Ubisoft toys for life multiplatform game, with the Star Fox stuff being exclusive to Switch

Expected:

5-8 mins on Switch online & the NES launch line up
Yoshi Title Reveal
Diablo
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
FF XV Pocket Edition
Labo Kit 3
Civilisation
Oddworld
Pokemon Lets Go
Smash
Mario & Luigi rerelease 3DS
Luigi's Mansion 3DS

:datass: Not bad. Guessed about 50% of the content. Should have figured Mario Party, Splatoon and Mario Tennis sections also though.

There really was a lot of cool games included, albeit many were "2019". I'm keen to see World of Final Fantasy!

Wow, they really didn't have anything else to add about the online...… To be honest, it sounds pretty disappointing, regardless of how many NES games they put on there chances are I won't actually play them. I'll probably jump on the online sub when Pokemon releases so I can battle online. Only thing that's really good is the cloud saves.

That 'Town' from Game Freak looks interesting as well, maybe a similar style to what we can expect from the next generation of Pokemon games? Thank goodness there isn't HM's in Pokemon Let's Go as well.

I thought that was a strong Direct.

> Delighted to see Luigi’s Mansion 3 is coming next year. I assumed it would because of how well 2 sold, and I’m guessing Next Level Games are on it again as they haven’t done anything since Federation Forces. Hopefully they ditch the mission structure, and it looks like the graphics (lighting in particular) have some way to go but I’m just chuffed it’s coming.

> Disappointed Splatoon 2 4.0 doesn’t include a new mode. Looks like their slowly winding down content now, which is fair enough as they’ve supported it more than enough now, but after a few modes were datamined I had hoped for a new ranked mode. New stage looked nice though.

> NSMBU finally confirmed. Xenoblade X is still my most wanted Wii U port but I’ll probably get this having missed it the first time round. The Toadette to Peachette thing was abit weird though

> All that Final Fantasy :slol: looking forward to Crystal Chronicles though. Glad to see online confirmed!

> Starlink looks really good to me. I’ll wait til the price comes down but I’ll definitely get that at some point. Really glad they seem to have properly integrated Starfox rather than just adding a ship model and calling it a day.

> Civ 6 and Cities Skylines are nice additions to the Switch. Fill a gap in the software library.

> Animal Crossing :toot: would have liked some footage but I’m guessing it’s a Q3 or Q4 release next year and it will be unveiled at E3.

> Isabelle in Smash is a bit meh for me but I’m happy for the fans who wanted her and the series deserved more representation in Smash. Plus it adds more variety in the roster which is one thing I enjoy about Smash.
