Prime trilogy will be a late November Christmas release I'd imagine.

Where's this Prime trilogy rumour come from?

It isn't happening.

It's been doing the rounds for awhile, with the accepted wisdom being they've delayed it so it's closer to the release of Prime 4. Quite a few journalists have confirmed its' existence as well as King Zell who has pretty much impeccable record on rumours. Still, take with a grain of salt as always etc.

Saying that, I realy don't think it's that unlikely. It's been over a decade since the last and it would be a good way to regenerate interest in the franchise. Nintendo remastered Twilight Princess and Wind Waker in HD after all, why not Prime? I could well see them getting Tantalous to do the same HD job they did on Twilight Princess on the Prime trilogy, the only issue being the controls may take more work updating but that's hardly something that can't be worked around.

Surely they'd have found a place for it the first 6 months of this year given how barren it is in places.

I think you just have to accept Nintendo don't give a gooseberry fool about the fan base. Unacceptable that more older titles aren't available.

Paradise is genuinely one of the most disappointing sequels I've ever played. Not because it's awful, it's perfectly serviceable, but it isn't a patch on Takedown or even Revenge. The soundtrack is...EA-ish and the gameplay suffers for moving to open world IMO.

Played Paradise Remastered recently and my opinion still stands on it. I agree with Corazon, it really does suffer from the transition to open world. It really pissed me off how the events took me to places that I didn't want to return to (namely, the mountain area), and then you would have to drive the whole back to get to another event.

And the Prime Trilogy rumour is a funny one. I would love it, but I would be really shocked if it ever happened.

But then, I didn't think Xenoblade DE would ever happen, so I'm glad to be wrong.

iirc one of the I-know-something-you-don't-know-tee-hee Eurogamer editors said it was completed and ready for release about a year ago.

Has pricing for Bioshock been announced?

I might get Bioshock 2, as I skipped that at the time and a few on here have mentioned how good it is. Assume you can buy the games separately and don't need the collection?

2K wrote:The physical game contains an 16GB cartridge including the opening acts of BioShock Remastered, BioShock 2 Remastered, and BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition. Later game contents and add-ons will need to be downloaded.

The XCOM 2 Collection physical game contains an 8GB cartridge that features two base game missions. A download is required for the rest of the Total download size will not exceed 24GB.

The physical game contains an 8GB cartridge that features Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition, with a 6.6GB download required. For Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel a 35GB download is required.

The collections are $49.99 in the US; UK pricing is TBC. It's not yet clear if you'll be able to buy games from the collection individually but - based on the packaging of the cart versions - I wouldn't have thought so.

That's annoying, surely they'll make them available individually digitially?

Perhaps they will, Tom, although each is being marketed as a "collection". Hopefully the details will appear in the eShop soon!

Nintendo's website has individual entries for each game and one for the collection which to me suggests they'll be available individually :D

Excellent, Tom! Slashgear reckon they'll be available separately, too:

Finally, 2K is bringing the entire BioShock series to Switch as well. This includes BioShock Remastered, BioShock 2 Remastered, and BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition, which will all be available separately or bundled together in BioShock: The Collection.

$50 for the collection, I'm guessing $20 each? Hoping for a £14.99 price point in UK, probably £19.99 though?

Yeah, £40 for the collection and £20 each sounds about right.

It’s kinda a cross between Starfox and Rez. But in terms of actual challenge it’s more like Starfox set to 11. The gameplay probably is more like Starfox actually, and there are power ups etc to collect. The Rez aspect is the pattern memorisation, and that requires you to be the correct form (of 3) for the enemies you are confronting.

Cheers if its anything like Starfox its added to my wish list

Maybe they’ll just jump straight into the Switch 2 in 2021 (you’d think they’d now stick with it rather than trying to reinvent the wheel again).

And yet Nintendo is Nintendo, so I'm looking forward to the Wii Switch U.
