The switch has become a quite a big part of my life and feels like I've had and loved it for an age but up until now there hasn't been a single direct since I've owned it.

The pessimist in me is just a tiny bit worried that we haven't a direct in so long because, well, maybe Nintendo just don't have much planned at the moment....look forward to be proved wrong

I think this is the reason.

I’m not expecting much more than a port, maybe an eshop game and Xenoblade for Q2.

I suspect stuff they hoped to get out in the spring has slipped.

Makes you wonder how real that excuse for the Animal Crossing delay was. I wouldn’t be surprised if they pushed it back from 2019 (where they really didn’t need it after an incredible run of releases from June to November) to carry the first half of 2020.

Retro strawberry floating about on failed projects for 6-7 years when they could have finished their DK trilogy is an absolute tragedy.

Rumours abound of an "indie world" broadcast on 18 March and a "direct" on 26 March. The source, a VentureBeat reporter, also indicates that "(Nintendo) is also expected to continue to rely "heavily on remasters and ports"".

Come on HD Mario Galaxy collection!

Pikmin 3
Super Mario 3D World
Xenoblade DE

Those 3 are expected, if BotW is not making it out this year then I would expect a WW HD or TP HD release as well

Please don't try and sell us a damned port of a remaster Nintendo, that would be strawberry floating wrong on so many levels and I know it'll be £50 you wankers.

They should put them in a double pack.

They won’t, but they should.

Nintendo-developed / supported titles launched for Switch during January to March each year:

2017: Zelda BotW (Mar), 1-2-Switch (Mar)
2018: Bayonetta 1 & 2 (Feb), Kirby Star Allies (Mar)
2019: NSMBU Deluxe (Jan), Yoshi's Crafted World (Mar)
2020: Brain Age (Jan), Tokyo Mirage Sessions (Jan), Pokémon Mystery Dungeon (Mar), Animal Crossing (Mar)

Uhm... I guess that we're in the midst of a relative deluge of Nintendo software :datass: .
