I think my most hyped was for the 3DS

Why couldn’t they have just added Luigis Mandion and Wario to Switch >_>

Also do I win the cereal for predicting ports, ports, ports?

Seriously though, I wouldn’t mind the ports so much but you know Nintendo are going to charge a premium and idiot Nintendo fans are going to lap it up. Be interesting to see how much Captain Toad is considering that was a budget release first time round.

Mmm, not bad but not a lot for me. Too many WiiU ports and remasters. Captain Toad 2 I'd have been all over but not the first one again.

Might get Travis, might get Little Nightmares. Going to give the demo of Octopath another try because it didn't click first time around.

Okami remaster I'm interested in but it would have to be cheap! Loved it back in the day but boy did it out stay its welcome!

Its nice that okami is getting a port. The framerate in that dark souls trailer looked all over the place, but that amiibo is a must buy!

I don’t mind nintendo bringing us ports, however their prices for them are ridiculous!

I'm not buying any more 3ds games because switch is a portable and I'm not caring two devices around with me.

And strawberry float off with the produces of these ports. They should be Nintendo select prices online.

Yeah they should be £20 at most. I'd hoover up most of them for that price. You'd get people double-dipping too, in order to get them portably.

Have to say I’m disappointed Captain Toad isn’t a proper sequel. I know it has some Odyssey levels but I feel like a full sequel wouldn’t have been that much work.

The only thing I can think of is they're working on Metroid again but even then, 5 years and all we get is a logo saying Metroid Prime 4 is coming? Doesn't seem right.

There's always the possibility they started a project that later got cancelled

Yeah there is that possibility but 5 years still seems a long time to hear nothing about any new projects from them in my opinion.

Had a watch. Lots of stuff but not much that really floats my boat. But one thing stood out like a shining star, Octopath Traveller. That games looks absolutely fantastic. Really tickles the Tactics Ogre/FFT part of my brain. I'll definitely be picking that up. Splatoon 2 DLC is a maybe, not sure whether I want single player Splatoon though. I've held off on South Park on the hope of a Switch release as I'm more likely to play it portable. But I won't be getting at launch and paying the Switch premium, one to pick up later in the year (unless they price it sensibly for launch - say £29.99 would be my biting point).

Technically we’ve heard about the DK port but yeah, I agree. Hopefully it means a really ambitious project rather than something that goes wrong.

Ports, ports, ports. Still very few reasons to get a Switch. Wii U apparently had "no games", but a hell of a lot of Switch's games are Wii U ports, but the Switch is supposedly a major step-up. What am I missing?

ResetEra continuing the Neogaf tradition of being insanely salty about any game being released for the 3DS.

I’m looking forward to all of these games. Ports don’t bother me at all and maybe they are announcing them all now to focus on new stuff at e3

FWIW Amazon.com has it at $40 which would be an okay price if true

Nothing of interest for me, but I'm quite happy flicking between Odyssey and BotW for the time being.

It's a little funny seeing people disappointed with this direct when it was 30 minutes long and had 21 games in it. Expectations are always way too high I think.

If you're playing a 3DS game, why would you need your Switch with you?

After the Switch came out I played Monster Hunter Stories and Ever Oasis on 3DS, they are both great games.

My main complaint about 3DS releases is if they are eshop only, as the 3DS has terrible wireless and doesn't connect to my router.
