We’d all still buy it, don’t pretend otherwise.

This would be worth it for the rage it would induce

I'm still hoping that Retro are working on another DKC for much the same reason. Plus if they delay Metroid for it I could feast on Devlins tears for decades.

Ignoring the Tropical Freeze port, Nintendo haven't released a game with Donkey Kong in the title since 2015, Mario v Donkey Kong Tipping Stars in 2015.

You'd have thought they'd be doing with the IP at the moment somewhere....

If they spend more than 5 minutes on Smash DLC I'll be annoyed. Smash has had it's moment in the sun and it's time for it to strawberry float off for the forseeable future.

I want to see something Metroid related. I'm not expecting anything Prime 4, but a 2D game and the Prime Trilogy HD collection would be awesome.

Would be nice to see what Retro have been working on as well. A new DKC would be nice, but something original would also be good.

I don't want that Star Fox racing game. Give me F-Zero proper and don't try shoehorning Fox and co where they don't belong.

A listing has appeared on a GameStop trade in list for a Nintendo Switch Edition of No Man’s Sky.

Give me F-Zero or give me death.

I said it for years with Metroid and they gave us 4 and SR in the same show. Give me F-Zero and I can go into the future directs just thinking “ahh, can’t wait to see what they show”.

What the?!?! :o ... ... :toot: . I'd *love* this!

But, hey, I'm now going on a gaming media blackout to avoid spoilers.

Speaking of blackouts I believe the plan for the GR stream tonight is that Pedz, Doom and I are watching the Direct at 9 as live. Gonna be tricky to stay spoiler free.

Enjoy that five hours of blissful internet ignorance.

You'll need it.

The main things I’d love to see are:
Banjo in Smash
Retro game reveal
Animal Crossing shown and given a 2019 release date

Other things I’d like that are possible:
Metroid in some form (2D or Trilogy HD port)
Pikmin 4
New Monolith game

The long shots:
New F-Zero
Teaser for next 3D Zelda
1080/Wave Race/Excite Bike HD compilation

I’m really keeping my expectations low, as long as we see Animal Crossing and a release date I’ll be very happy :toot:

Anything else (especially unknown) will just be a nice surprise.

I think the big announcement during the Nintendo show will be compatibility with XBox remote play. That'll be the mic drop moment at the end.

I'd be down with this. Would be good to try out a few of the multiplatforms like Sekiro I've missed out on through only having a Switch atm.

I think there will be a Microsoft moment and it’ll be Banjo in Smash reveal followed by Rare Replay on Switch updated to include DKC and DK64 and DKR.
