Bumpity bump.

Is there much chance at all of seeing anything Metroid related?

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Well Metroid Prime 4 recently had development restarted at Retro, so I don't expect to see anything of that for another year or two at least.

Nope, I reckon 23 minutes on Animal Crossing, some Luigi’s Mansion, Link’s Awakening, MUA3, Witcher 3 and then 15 minutes of Smash DLC.

I’d guess at most another tease for MP4, I don’t see it being ready to show off any gameplay or anything significant.

The Prime Trilogy remaster has been rumoured for a long time now, so if it really does it exist that would be a big surprise to announce at E3.

Also it seems like the person who was leaking a good chunk of Microsoft’s and Bethesda’s conferences has been given a cease and desist by Nintendo so there should be a lesser chance of information leaking before their direct now.

And 2 minutes of
Ni No Kuni
but it won't be enough to warm Suzz's cold, dead heart.

If they announced F-Zero, WarioWare and a 2D Metroid I’ll be the happiest grumpy bastard on the planet.

I like the idea of the presentation being focused on games arriving in 2019. Hopefully this definitely means Animal Crossing is arriving this year :toot: .

Now watch as it's not mentioned.

F zero, Metroid Prime Trilogy, Star Fox, would all be great.

Wouldn't mind Splatoon sequel or spinnoff. Maybe Arms 2.

Also Kirby, anything Kirby.

All they need to do is say Snes games, all of them, coming to the Switch and they would win E3.

Wish my image sig would work

(Completely serious) predictions:

F-Zero is back as a Labo kit/VR game
Top-down Splatoon twin-stick shooter with a twist
Wario Land Switch
After Link's Awakening we get shown a new Zelda logo
Animal Crossing requires an online sub and has nonsensical single joy-con co-op

Zero chance of seeing Prime 4.

Trilogy Remaster, if rumours are to believed exists but Nintendo may be sitting on it until Prime 4 is nearer release. Rumours could be bollocks though of course.

Best chance in my opinion is a new 2D Metroid from Mercurysteam-remaster or a completely new game. It might be slightly too soon after Samus Returns though.

I've not played Ni No Kuni. Is Suzz wrong about Ni No Kuni being a bad game? I've previously only heard good things about Ni No Kuni.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

It's a beautiful, soulful, whimsical experience stuck on top of a fairly average JRPG. Come for the Ghibli but maybe don't dwell around too much on the combat. Drippy adds 2 points to the review score though for being one of the greatest characters ever with the best voice over work.

I played into the post-game of the first, haven't played the sequel. It's very pretty but the actual game doesn't live up to the promise of the Ghibli world imo. It's fine, but if it weren't for that selling point I'd say it was very forgettable overall.

Really hoping they don't spend any time on Pokemon S&S and Fire Emblem, we've already seen enough of those.

Hopefully there will be a big focus on Animal Crossing and Luigi's Mansion.

Not expecting any new big first party announcements, so hopefully there will be plenty of third party ones (I'm looking at you, Capcom).

Even in Nintendo’s worst E3 years I don’t think they’ve ever not announced at least one new first party title.

I’m expecting them to give more focus to Mario Maker 2, Fire Emblem and Link’s Awakening in Treehouse rather than the Direct where they’ll just give us quick trailers. We’ve seen enough of the first 2, and unless they’ve got something new for LA what is there to really reveal? We know the story and the game well already.

Taking is as 40 minutes to play around with, four minutes per game would fit ten games in. On average, I'd say it'd be two minutes per game, with a few of the more important games getting those four minutes. Animal Crossing would definitely be one of those games. Luigi's Mansion 3 I think would get three minutes. Smash DLC would be two, though some of that time would be shared with a new game reveal if one were coming related to that character.

You'd think that, however last year it felt like half an our was just dedicated to Smash Bros Ultimate.
