Disappointed re Animal Crossing, I could feel it coming once we had nothing with 10 mins to go. Insane trolling from the Banjo reveal.

That was a great Direct. Disappointed by Animal Crossing delay and no Retro (I think I just need to accept they don’t have anything coming until Prime 4) but Luigi’s Mansion 3 looked great, they have a load of stuff coming over the next 6 months and....BANJO.


And holy gooseberry fool BOTW2...are they Majora Masking it? Link and Zelda stumbling upon another world perhaps.

But two things I gotta get out of the way.

However, barring those two incidents, that was terrific! Tons of great games and I'm keen to find out more about loads of 'em . I guess the Microsoft thing was only Super Lucky's Tale... but that game looks neat and is something I'd wanted to try, so I don't really mind. A great Direct; and lovely to hear that Breath of the Wild 2 is in development.

Oh, and does Retro Studios actually exist any more? .

Eh? It was the exact same joke they pulled for the King K Rool Smash reveal, why were you thinking it was a Banjo game?
