Other than Ori being confirmed, didn't learn about anything new which appeals. Spiritfarer, Blasphemous and Ori will be on my Switch for sure, based on current showings.

EDIT: Also, Skater XL was the worst looking trailer I can ever remember seeing in one of these presentations. Atrociously stiff and plain.

Dissapointing lack of Untitled Goose Game tbh

Edit: Also had a bit of a chuckle at the footage shown for the Hotline Miami collection, lots of walking around in the before and after level areas as that's all they can show while keeping the stream kid friendly. As much as I do love both games, I doubt i'll double dip on them.

There were some real good games previewed! And Superhot and Hotline Miami Collection are releasing today! Shinen's The Touryst looked particularly interesting. You know, I think indie games are starting to become more exciting for me than many "AAA" games; way less BS and you don't feel ripped off.

I really want to give Hotline Miami a go; the music is just so awesome :-) .

I've been watching Eastward for a long time now, definitely interested in it. Will probably pick up Superhot (I have yet to play it) and double-dip on Hotline Miami as it has been a while (and maybe I'll get on better with 2 this time).

The all-star line-up for Freedom Finger is confusing me

Hotline Miami is strawberry floating excellent and I can wholeheartedly recommend it

Yeah like, due to not having to go through some kind of production committee, indie games tend to exhibit much more interesting ideas than the average AAA game, and due to the tech that is available these days, the presentation as well isnt too far behind

I must getting old and world weary but there was so little that I was interested in. The Touryst looked decent and I quite liked the look of One Finger Death Punch but so much other stuff just looked derivative. Even Spiritfarer, which I was super interested in after E3, looked dull. The only thing I ought to buy is Superhot and I really should pick that up on PSVR.

EDIT: The above should be taken with the context that I've got Ori on Gamepass and played Hotline Miami elsewhere.

Hotlline Miami Collection is priced at $24.99 on the US eShop. My initial reaction was "that's too much!" but the same pack currently costs £16 on the PS Store and £22 on Steam so, as a new release on Switch, I guess it's not that bad.

Eastworld looks lovely, and The Touryst looks interesting too!

Also it would have been lovely to be surprised by Ori’s announcement if this thread hadn’t revealed it already. :?

I was getting caught up by the hype and, having given myself a bit of a slap (I'm sacking off upcoming titles so why am I making a £23 purchase?!?), I'm holding off from Hotline Miami and will wait for a price drop.

Still looking forward to seeing what you guys think of it, though :-) .

Not much in the presentation that got me excited.

I was intrigued by The Touryst, but primarily because I couldn't quite work out what type of game it was. Adventure? Puzzle? Dungeon crawler?

If anyone has yet to play Hotline Miami, it is a truly excellent game. I'm also not especially into that sort of music, but I still listen to the soundtrack to this day.

If you like twitchy, fast-restart games that really get you in the zone, then it's well worth looking at.
