Still don't understand the dock hate (unless it's actually bent, which is a manufacturing fault and you should get replaced).

The only thing I dislike about the dock is the price of buying a second one

I am probably a wee bit harsh about the dock, Rakoon... but it does - to me - feel so cheap and flimsy in comparison to the excellent quality of the console and the joy-con. Being an old, OCD-laced, fastidious git, I am very careful putting the console in and out of the Dock, but I would be wary of a younger kid doing so... it feels like both parts could take a bashing over time.
