This would be amazing, for sure. Preferably with updated controls more like a modern FPS (always found the controls on GC a little weird).

Would be cool to get them remastered as well but I seriously doubt that would happen.

Yeah, I would like to see a remake / remaster of the Trilogy rather than just emulated versions. Having said that, the Wii versions were updated to suit widescreen - and had the controls adjusted, I believe - so I guess they would be fine for Switch with a wee brush-up.

I hope it does as well, hopefully it'll have a good % of the actual GameCubes catalogue of games in it as well when/if (hopefully the first option!) does happen, I need to be able to play Paper Mario and The Thousand Year Door again without the need to get my GameCube out (sadly don't have space for them to all be out at the same time), I'd live to have the GC version of Animal Corssing as a portable offering as it was amazing. I dont know if they'd be able to make Mario Sunshine work due to the lack of analogue triggers though. Hopefully they'll be able to release Rogue Squadron 2/3 on it but I imagine that's unlikely.

This is something Nintendo should moneyhat if Sega are not willing to do anything with the franchise. I would be happy with a HD remaster of Super Monkey Ball deluxe tbh

Hmmn... Game Informer has taken a look at Kirby Star Allies and they have a few concerns. As we're on the road to release, I doubt too much is gonna change at this point. I wonder if other folk will feel the same as GI?

King DeDeDe looking buff!

What are GI’s concerns? All the other previews have been pretty positive from what i’ve seen.

I have been playing Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap. Beat the final boss yesterday.

This has to be the new gold standard for remasters, even beating M2's SEGA releases on 3DS. It's absolutely gorgeous. Great music. And the game itself isn't bad either.

very tempted to purchase Yono, been thinking about that for a while now, looks like a fun enough game with a cute little elephant.

I’ve pre-ordered the physical edition with colour manual, been wanting to play this for ages

It's short and easy, but very endearing. Don't expect anything in the way of combat, and the puzzles are pretty standard block pushing/switch hitting. What it does have is some cool world design and surprisingly interesting dialogue

Curious if anyone else Googled Kay Switch, and became even more confused.

Lots of people on social media speculating about what we'll see in a Direct next week... I feel so out of the loop I haven't read anything about a rumoured Direct next week.

Stumbled on someone streaming Pokemon XD on GameCube. I'd completely forgot the game existed, despite it not being the game so many people wanted, I feel an urge to revisit it. Praying we get VC soon, it's been such an arduous wait.

Going to pop my eShop cherry with Mercenaries Saga Chronicles, just as soon as I finish Lost Sphear. Looks to scratch that FFTA itch.
