Hey, Fisher, I don't think that I'll be buying any new games for Switch this month. Although I do have just under four quid's worth of EShop Gold Coins and so I might use them if I see something on sale.

Are you planning to buy a game?

.

Speaking of Gold points I keep meaning to do a stream of me buying as many games as I can with whatever points I have and then playing them live to see if they’re any good.

That could be a neat idea for a vid, plastic. Depending on how many Gold Coins you have, I'd imagine that a few could be duffers, though  .

Yeah, might as well wait until there's something you really want, Fisher.

A frightening window into OrangeRKN's bizarre search history

Just standard Klonoa searches like "Klonoa's ring" and "Klonoa inflation"

I think I was moaning about my mortgage or interest rates and my colleague tricked me into looking into up "sonic inflation"....I can't do that to you guys - please don't search!

Joking of course, some ‘fans’ take stuff well too seriously. Managed to get back access to your account?

Nope, they changed the email address attached to it and twitter are being useless.

I was about to post this too

 Top class to be honest!

Shame about your Twitter account though :(

Sorry about your account - hope you're sorted now. Re. the Fusion gif. I thought Fusion was the one that is generally considered the easiest / most linear? If not which is the most linear? When I've finished Prime, I'm up for more Metroid - but looking for a lighter experience.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Its cool, that we now have GB games on the Expansion Pass. Its a nice indication that Nintendo are committed to supporting the Expansion pass, it's definitely received a mix reception and I thought Nintendo might limp to the end of the Switch's life doing the minimum and abandon it for something else when the "Switch 2" comes. But I do hope they do a little better than one GB game a month.

I'm mainly interested in trying N64 games, Nintendo have only committed to Excite Bike and 1080 Snowboarding. I understand we're never going to get the full suite of N64 games due to licensing etc, but there whole bunch of games I'd like to try. I note that we haven't got many more snes games since they started releasing N64 games (but there was a far greater selection of Snes games) - hoping Nintendo won't focus to much on their new-to-service GBA games and we'll get a decent stream of N64 games.

Still can’t access my account.

That’s the reason I don’t like Fusion very much. It’s too linear and barely feels like Metroid. Where as Prime was like Super Metroid in 3D.

Thanks, sounds like I might have fun with it for the very reasons you don't much like it. Understand the criticism - over linearity perhaps isn't very metroid-y....

Sucks about your account - hope you get it sorted. Gamers;

I can’t quite tell if this would be too uncomfortable for long gaming periods or not  I still really want to pick a set up but it makes the Switch look really unwieldy.

I've been meaning to give that a go. Aside from hooking them up to get a photo of it, I haven't given it a play like it.

I've never used a GameCube controller but those Switch versions look pretty neat. I wouldn't worry too much about the system being "too long"; I use Hori Split Pad Pro and I think they're a similar size and the improved comfort works well.

Like Milner, I'd be keen to see the GC pad additions on your Switch, Rula!

I'd got it last week and have used it quite a bit. Never in handheld, but I'll likely give that a go later. It's a very comfortable controller to use, and it's put the gears for Wreckfest into my usual position just because of the layout.

It looks really neat, Rula - you've got a portable GC! . A nice addition for your Switch, dude.

Be keen to hear your thoughts if you try it in handheld mode. Did you order directly? Was it much extra with postage etc.. and did it take long to get to you?

Direct from the Nyxi website, there was no shipping fee applied to the order. Since it was a preorder from January, the almost two months to arrive might be shorter now that the release date has arrived.

And about to jump into some Wreckfest handheld with them attached now, so let's see what that's like.
