I have Shield as a download version, Pedz. I don't think I'm gonna properly tackle that until I've got through Let's Go, though!

S'fair enough. How are you enjoying Let's Go? I enjoyed it more than I expected to, but I still don#t really like the catching of wild Pokémon.

Let's Go was my first real introduction to the Pokémon world and I really like it. I've put around ten or twelve hours in so far... haven't played for a while now, though. Hopefully it'll be a good grounding before I take on Shield! I would like to see further entries in the Let's Go branch.

But, hey, before all that I'm gonna be rescuing Pokémon in dungeons :-) .

I’ve never played a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game, not really sure if I’d enjoy it or not despite being into the mainline games? Not that I need anything to play before Animal Crossing mind! Now that I’ve got everything transferred to Pokémon Home I’ll be restarting The Witcher 3 and continuing my career on WRC 8 :toot: Although I did find myself thinking which Pokémon I could solo Sword with.....

I do agree with you though Jawa, I’d love at least a Let’s Go version for the Johto games (Umbreon and Espeon :datass:) not really sure if the Let’s Go games would have the same legs as the mainline games for having a game for each region.

The adventure has started! I completed the questionnaire and became Mudkip; a Pokémon that I wasn't familiar with. I then chose Pikachu as my partner and we were immediately charged with helping to complete a rescue :o .

The game is crazily cute and wholesome; vibrant graphics, tinkly tunes and positive messaging. Now gotta learn the ropes and look to help by carrying out more rescues!

From the Rayman thread but just to share here, too! I recently re-bought Rayman Legends on the Switch.

I completed it 100% years ago on Steam. It's still brilliant. It's still probably in my All Time Top Ten. It's still got that unique gamefeel and flow that is precise and satisfying but also has enough stretch and flex and momentum to accommodate mid-air attack flurries whilst still hurtling forward through levels ripe to bursting with crashable, pop-able, burstable things and flourishes.

And it still looks and sounds beautiful.

Oh, and nearly every level feels like a whole experience with a partway transition, or surprise or platforming middle-eight.

So great!

BotW's final Trial of the Sword is strawberry floating bullshit. I've wasted hours now trying to do it and then I get strawberry floated, on what I think was the final stage, by a Lynel with flame arrows.

I think I might give up on it because it's just stressing me out and it takes so long.

I actually only tried it once, got to the ice Talos and was out of weapons to use against it, bombs would take too long and the cold would kill me. Up until that point I’d found it much easier on the whole than some stages of the second trial.

Save an ancient arrow to one-shot it. What have you been using them on?

You can one shot Lynels?! I've been using them to one shot the robots in the eye.

The ancient arrows can one-shot Lynels but then it doesn't give you the fancy loot for killing them properly.

It's the only way I've ever taken one out :slol:

Don’t need the loot anyway in the Trial of The Sword :datass:

I tried using that on the Ice Talos, either messed my shot up or they don’t one shot those :(
