I’m expecting nothing and will still probably end up disappointed somehow, surely if this is another partner showcase/mini direct then I literally have no idea when we’ll actually get a general direct, September will be a full year since the last general direct if we get one then. Watch Nintendo give up on the direct format after so many years of great directs for the most part :fp:

Guessing a partner showcase in the next 2 weeks that will announce that a HD port of No More heroes is coming to Switch this year whilst number 3 is delayed to 2021

I'm in two minds on this. I will probably buy it and enjoy it, but means Pikmin 4 isn't close.

Full switch price for a port is always hard to swallow. I play on switch lite so no idea how it'll play on that.

Hopefully they announce more games soon.

I'd say they have to be real or Nintendo is going up against next gen at Christmas with a niche puzzle game port from the Wii U.

Everything delayed to 2021 to recreate 2017 and go beyond it. New first party game every single month, with some having two or perhaps even three. People'll be complaining that their wallets can't keep up again and be begging for another drought.

I can see the remainder of the year being the Mario remasters and the Pokemon DLC to close out the year. 3D World port for January and then who knows
