Congrats, you're smashing it. Its a proud day when you 3 star all cups and unlock gold mario. You should totally concentrate on that this week and not getting a good time on rainbow road in time trials

It seems to have divided opinion quite sharply, IM; 64 on Metacritic but only four reviews, with the assessments being 80, 70, 65 and 40.

Cool, I think it’s been patched and updated a lot since the reviews were written, at £4 I’ll take a punt and see what it’s like.

I’ve been tempted by Age of Calamity since it came out but while I liked the first one I didn’t exactly love it either so wasn’t sure if I should I get AoC, is it vastly better than the first?

I prefer it in the sense it is set in BOTW's world with fun cutscenes but the underlying core gameplay is pretty much the same as the first one.

I'm playing some Lo-Fi Ping-Pong during night shifts - I like it! Especially because it only cost a couple of quid.

It's got good beats and a pixel-chill aesthetic, and because it's rhythm-based and very quickly quite difficult, it demands you get into a proper zone/flow to beat its levels quite early on. For these kind of games I want there to be stakes and engagement quickly in each round - like Super Hexagon, say, which feels like end-game tension and thrill right from the off of each try - and this does that nicely.

Being night-shift tired probably helped it feel as hard as I seemed to find it at first!

P.S. Whatever happened to Super Hexagon on the Google Play Store? All I can find is Terry Cavannagh's Super Gravitron but that's a bit too hard...

I think I prefer Link's Awakening to Breath of the Wild. The Switch version is fantastic, just a shame about the lag when you enter a new screen.
