The RRP for Miitopia is £39.99. It does feel a bit steep when you think it's an update of a 3DS title.

But... Miitopia was great fun and I'd love to try it out on Switch! I've missed Mii's on Switch and it's good to see them return; it's a lot of fun seeing your friends do and say silly things in Miitopia. I had a few pals team-up in Mii form alongside Bayonetta when I played the 3DS version .

Miis back in a port of an underwhelming 3DS game = not so good.
Miis back in an overpriced port of an underwhelming 3DS game and probably stinking up the Mario Golf story mode = aaaaaAAAAAAAaaaaaaAAAAA

I really hope Mario Golf is good, it’s been so long since we had a stellar Mario Sports title.

First thing that popped in to my head is an animated Fisher AR story. Hopefully he'll pick this up and we can really see what Jawa is getting up to

It's a quirky RPG game based on the Mii characters. You set off on an adventure and you can choose who else joins your party; in-game characters or your friends in their Mii forms. You undertake 2D turn-based battling and the script and situations are pretty funny. It's good fun and I really enjoyed it on 3DS.

I do wonder if Nintendo could (should) have added extra battles/situations - so far it appears that they've just added on new character/costime capabilities - and the proce does feel high... but I'm still keen to check it out.

We flew a GR logo for the 3DS version!

While I’m yet to watch the direct, it looks like my Nintendo purchases will be Skyward Sword and the almost inevitable Pokémon remaster at the end of the year. I still throughly enjoy most of the games Nintendo puts out and even with the Switch that’s been almost my sole system I’ve played on since I got it till I got my Series X, sounds like I’ve got re-interested in one of the other platforms at the right time sadly, I really hope they have more to interest me for this year than 3D World, Skyward Sword HD and Pokémon (again, if it’s happening), if not it’s going to have to be a belter of a 2022 for the Switch! Surely there has to be something else for Zelda’s 35th anniversary than a Skyward Sword HD port too?

Also with what they showed off they really don’t need a Switch Pro yet (if at all), may as well wait as long as they can before releasing a Switch 2.

Hoping they bundle it with something else to add value. Perhaps "Miitopia + Balloon Fight Fury". I would buy the gooseberry fool out of that limited time physical steel book release
