I think I'm not alone in saying I completely forgot about it first time around, so hopefully I can get to playing this time.

Does anyone know of there's any way to do a system back up? Including all save data etc?

I'm worried I'll lose all my Pokémon and animal crossing progress if my console bites the dust

I think the only way of backing anything up is paying for the cloud that comes with the online service.

In possibly the most Nintendo move of all time, you have to pay for a service that allows you to backup your save data to the cloud...but that service doesn't support the two games people would be most worried about-Pokemon and Animal Crossing.

It doesn't support Splatoon 2 either.

Is there actually a reason for this?

Another baffling decision, just like when they decided to not include the ability, for a small number of GameCube games, to transfer/copy your save from one memory card to another and so your save was locked to one memory card forever.

Get paid online for cloud saves and back up your vital data!

Great! I can back up my animal crossing and Pokemon saves, because I've out hundreds of hours in to those!

No not those games LOL. You can back up snake pass though.

It's to stop hacking of the save data. Debatable how necessary that is for AC.

I've just seen this.. sorry if this is old news.
But, looks pretty nifty! 4k upscaling for a switch with no modding and it's plug'n'play.

Really improves the (lack of lol) anti-aliasing by miles too!

Looks neat for anyone playing Switch on a 4K TV I guess

It has a "dedicated retro mode" - does that just mean it... does nothing?

My 4k does a great job of upscaling. Right up close it looks a bit like that painted filter snes9x uses, but from a sofa distance it looks lovely.
