We will, of course. I just feel like given the current year’s trajectory, combined with the fact that they ruled out a summer Direct, hoping for anything else is setting myself up for disappointment.

Yeah, of games form old systems which are a pain in the arse to get hold of and run on a modern tv. Not stuff that's on a hdmi console I still have and could walk in to a shop and buy the game for.

I got this at the weekend and have done the first couple of levels so far. Embarrassingly it's the first Duke Nukem game I've ever played, the others all managed to pass me by somehow
Love the 80s action hero tone and being able to flick the visuals between the original and remastered at the press of a button is really cool.

Are you also having to watch walkthroughs for certain bits? Each level normally has 1 section I can't figure out so just YouTube it.
Maybe not in the first 2 levels admittedly.

You can get the 3D Marios on Wii U...
Edit: might be wrong on Sunshine actually, not sure if they ever released that.

It's literally all he talks about. Quite worried about him going back to nursery now because he just wants to discuss Mario stuff all the time.
When I said that was the last gem, he turned and said he was really sad now it was all over. Can't believe how much it has grabbed him. I hope in 35 years' time he feels as nostalgic for this as I do for games in the 80s.
(His sorrow didn't last long, he's now playing Odyssey again.)
