So I’ve one user on the switch (me)
I’ve checked the save data is there on the console

Yet when I boot Pokemon it starts from the beginning & I don’t want to go through it as it will save over that data I think. What can I do? :|

Save data could be corrupted

What if you archive the software and then re-download it?

I’ve give that a whirl - nothing says corrupted, even checked the software. I’m at a loss can’t find anything on the net

This should have happened this gen.

60FPS for all games will never, ever happen, because there will always be devs who sacrifice framerate for fancier effects.

To be honest, I thought that was the perfect opportunity to paraphrase Dexter Jettster with a when I feel like it and how big a release it is for, but I think that is a number one response up there.

So Dead Cell’s can be pretty damn tough

I’ve managed to get as far as the Clocktower once on a run so far. I have unlocked 2 health flasks and on my way to unlocking the third.

Yes some phones have it. For example my pixel 4a does.

Off topic: I'm considering getting a 4a when they arrive in the UK - what do you make of it? I have a Pixel 2 on its last legs.

It's brilliant, but I upgraded from a pixel 1. It's the same size as the pixel 1, but all screen apart from the camera dot which doesn't bother me as it never blocks anything (if you have it landscape videos don't go wide enough to touch it). Screen is really, really vivid. Lack of 90 Hz doesn't bother me since I've never used a phone that has that feature, and this already feels smoother than my previous phone.

It's a bit heavier so feels sturdier. Might feel a bit smaller than your pixel 2, even if the screen might be bigger - but personally I've moved away from the larger form factors now that it's possible to get a phone that's basically all screen - to me this is the best of both worlds; something I can control with one hand easily, not too bulky for pockets, but still a decent screen size.

Has stereo speakers when landscape (although one of the speaker holes by the charger port are just there for symmetry), headphone jack and a back fingerprint reader - all of which are pluses in my eyes. This is my first phone using gestures rather than the 3 buttons at the bottom, which is taking a bit too get used to but not too bad.

The camera is the same hardware they've been using since the pixel 2, but going by reviews it's still top of class so they must keep updating the software. Seems good to me, but I don't have modern phones to compare to. Selfie cam is much, much better than my old pixel's. Big square on the back for the camera is ridiculous, but doesn't get in the way.

Lack of water resistance doesn't bother me. I've not tried Android pay yet.

It's already got Android 11 which has some minor changes, and fast updates is one reason why I went for this over the Nord.

Cheers - good to know. I still love the camera on my Pixel 2 - my wife has a Galaxy S9 and my camera is significantly better. So really I want a newer version of my phone with a working battery (mine keels over from <25% now). Most of all, it's the price tag that appeals. Am I hell as paying £50/£60 pcm for a phone contract.

Cheers for the feedback.

Sorry guys - back on topic now. :simper:

I picked up Mario Tennis for a cool £49.99 using gold points & a voucher I had.

Whilst the price stung I’m having a blast in the match modes. The story/adventure not so much but the game itself is quite addictive, and the closest I’ll get to Virtua Tennis 2 ever again I think

The story mode is basically an extended training mode to get you use to the controls. It is disappointing the lack of modes but the gameplay is superb-they really nailed that aspect, and if you simply enjoy playing the games, you'll get plenty of mileage from the online mode. I think I'm at 50+ hours.
