The amount of complete crap that's somehow discounted to pennies is kind of worrying. Doesn't really matter, considering it never shifted when at 89p, but how many people would be willing to buy this stuff owing to the curiosity factor when it's only 9p?

First Hyrule Warriors hasn't been discounted, so I guess I'll be waiting on that a few months more.

Does it annoy anyone else that if you've already bought a game you can't see the sale price and instead just see "purchased"?

It means you can't notice a good deal on a game you like and then recommend it.

There was something about this on Twitter a few weeks ago, covering publishers' tactics on eShop and discounts. Makes it easier to understand why certain games are permanently 95% off.

It annoys the crud out of me because with my daughter and my partner both having Switches when im looking through the store I look for me but I also keep them in mind as well so I can point stuff out if I think theyd like them.

Yeah, that was a great read. Seems deep discounts can get you real exposure on the Switch eShop, which again makes me wonder about all that complete crap currently selling for pennies. Be interesting to see if any of that does hit the charts.
