I'll definitely have a good time with this one then!

As for Resi, if you enjoy it then why not?

Yes.

Well I presume everyone else (including yourself) is going to give you the other one. :P

Has it been enhanced in any way? I think I bought the PS2 version back in the day (can't think why I go that over the GC version, I had both consoles and I think the GC one looked better, IIRC).

I could definitely be tempted back in.

This might be worth a read.

REmake for £15 might also be a consideration as I haven't played that for an age.

It is always wrong to consider buying Resi 4 because it's a turd. ;)

Honestly though, if you like it and want to play it again on Switch then why not? I've double dipped on a few games to get the Switch version and don't regret it, having the option to play on the go or just anywhere in the house is a big bonus that means I'm happy to re-buy games I love again.

I just picked up Sonic 2 for about the billionth time when I bought the Switch release this morning in fact!

Does anyone know if there are any plans to release any of the Mass Effect games on Switch? I would love to play through ME2 in handheld mode and finally share a proper bed with Garrus Miranda :datass:

That would require EA to actually do something for Switch other than lazy-as-fuck FIFA ports.

Honestly, it’s madness if they don’t do this. Easy money.

Mass Effect, I expect, that you'll be boring as strawberry float.

I downloaded a demo this week.

Genuinely! It was for the new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX game. I've not played a game in the series before and I thought I'd give it a go. The newly styled artwork is just lovely; it's a "watercolour" type of effect and is very attractive. The music is great, too, with impossibly happy wee ditties tinkling along.

The gameplay is simple battling action in randomly-generated dungeon areas. You can gradually build a team of Poké-buddies to help you make progress. I'm not knowledgeable about the types of Pokémon but, at least in the early stages, it seems to mainly be the first gen of Pokémon - ones that even I recognise such as Pikachu, Charmander and Squirtle.

Reviews have been extremely middling with the main concern being the simplicity of action; the basic gameplay remains as per the original GBA version albeit with some small differences and the improved presentation. Even so, I really enjoyed the demo and, being someone unfamiliar with much of the Pokémon world and associated mechanics, the action and bright appearance is more than enough to keep me entertained. I like it!

Good to see you enjoying it. You thinking of upgrading to the full game?

Also, every 'mon from gens 1-3 is present here, so there's a lot of choice when it comes to recruitment.
