New eshop sale has started, looks like the exact same sale as we got at Christmas

Some cool stuff on discount for the first time such as Huntdown, which I've had my eye on for a long time.

Have you picked much up?

Have bought Huntdown and If Found so far. Tempted by My Friend Pedro. How about you?

I played My Friend Pedro earlier this year and I really liked it, really fun to pick up and go through a few levels at a time

I have lots of stuff on my wish list but most have only small discounts, 2 I am interested in are Jenny LeClue and Half Past Fate, anyone tried these?

I ordered the season pass for Age of Calamity today. It's gone through as a pre order but the funds have not removed from my e shop account. I presumed it would be taken straight away.

There's a spike about 3/4 in that I've seen get mentioned. It's 3 screens of fairly hectic action but I didn't find it *that* difficult, as it's mostly a test of everything you've done before.

Is the spike The massive Robot thing, a few screens after the retro ZX Spectrum stuff

I just beat that, it was an absolute nightmare pain in the ass.

Thank God for the quick restarts and the saving partway through the fight.

If it gets tougher than that, it's definitely above my paygrade.

Nintendo changed the way they take funds for pre orders. They charge you a few days before release at the time of preloading now.

Was thinking about what games from the GC and Wii era Nintendo have remastered into HD

GameCube
Wind Waker
Twilight Princess
Mario Sunshine

Wii
Skyward Sword
Mario Galaxy
Xenoblade Chronicles

I wonder if that’s an area Nintendo will focus on now they have gotten the Wii U ports done for the most part? The Metroid Prime Trilogy is heavily rumoured to be coming so it would come down to if they want to bring games like TTYD, F-Zero GX and Punch Out into the HD era. Be a great idea if these are IP’s they don’t plan to make new entries for at present.

Thousand Year Door needs another release because I never got to play it.

I chose Tales of Symphonia over it. I liked it, but it was probably the wrong decision.

Yeah it really is one of the few games I’m desperate to see remastered, not that I can’t still get my GameCube out and play it but it’s such a wonderful game, letting millions more people have the option to play it on the Switch would be good too. The longer it goes without it being announced, the less likely it seems it’ll ever happen
