Seems a huge no brainer, to me, that they should put N64 games on the Switch in the same way they have done with NES and SNES games.

Hell, they could even charge for it, rather than it be a tie-in to NSO. Think about how much people paid for the Mini NES & SNES - they could just charge something similar to that, perhaps even less if they felt uncharacteristically generous, and release the whole package. The games are basically right there given they released them on Virtual Console for Wii and Wii U so it'd be incredibly straightforward to put together - it isn't like they'd have to redevelop or re-code them.

Be a good way to get some goodwill from the fans and some extra wonga to cheer up the shareholders.

Something will come in Septemner. They see it as an incentive to get people to sign up again.

I hope it is N64 games but it could easily just be game boy games.

I’d be all over N64 and GameBoy appearing on the Switch Online sub, while some of the NES and SNES games appeal to me it was the N64 and GameBoy which got me into gaming so do have much fonder memories of some of those titles. They could string them out over the next two years as well as they won’t put both on there at the same time even though there is no reason why they couldn’t. Hopefully if they did put the GameBoy on there it’d include GameBoy, GB Colour and GB Advance rather than them all having their own separate apps.

They really should make use of it more, their back catalogue is full of great games that would make the online sub more worthwhile, even if you don’t play online that much. Obviously there is no reason why they couldn’t release the N64 and GameBoy apps this year but I don’t see it happening after we got the NES and then the SNES apps separately.

I'd love N64 games on the Switch. I'd probably like them to remaster Mario Sunshine and Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 first though.

But really as a massive N64 fan, there is always going to be a huge Goldeneye sized hole in any digital collection.
