:o £6.39?! I think I might have to get that as I have about £3 in coins.

I just got switch online yesterday after I found out it gives you access to SNES and NES games. Super Mario 3, Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island and Mario Kart are my childhood so £12 a price I'm willing to pay.

Also Tetris 99 is infuriating, but morish.

Switch is very quickly becoming my favourite console. Just a shame the screen is so glossy, I tried to play it in the garden just now but even in shade its too reflective. Also it's a shame in BoTW it has to make everything really murkey in handheld mode in certain areas of the map.

Really good. The time skip 3x option is brilliant for grinding out XP when you want to, and deactivating random battles helped with a few annoying areas (the type where you keep getting lost and having to fight every 2 seconds doesn't help).

This is what I was hoping, playing the PSone version used to get on my nerves with the amount of random encounters

Agreed, it's a great version of the game and the added new features are great. 3x speed I used a hell of a lot just to skip things along quicker - I've played the game plenty of times so have no need to worry about maintaining the "integrity" of the experience!

As well as the option to disable random battles you also have a "battle enhancement mode" which is basically a god mode - I think your HP/MP constantly regenerates and things like the Limit breaks charge instantly as well.

Oh nice, that’ll be good for using against bosses and stuff then! Do the versions of FF8 and FF9 have the same extra features?

I just picked up FF7 as well. Looking forward to it as I missed the original but really loved the remake.

Has anyone taken the plunge on Crysis yet? I'm holding off for a price drop but it looks fantastic and a real technical achievement, so would be interested to see what others think of it.

Yeah it plays pretty well. There is some slowdown here and there but nothing that stops the enjoyment.

Solid port but nothing extra in the game. I finished it in a couple of days. Will probably have another play through on higher difficulty.

Verdict: Decent.

Anyone played Creaks yet. I loved Machinarium very tempted.

9 pretty much the same things but they work differently to the same effect

I take FF8 is the same?

Grabbed FF7 and had a quick look and tried the extra features, is there anyway to remove the icons on the left of the screen when you activate them?

Got Streets of Rage 4 in the post today , I've been playing it a load on game pass but wanted to own it physically as I own the first 3 and figured the Switch was the one I'd go for.

What do you think of it, ker? I still haven't got round to buying it despite being super hyped for it, although I've listened to the soundtrack more times than I could count - Funky HQ and Rising Up are just :datass:

Yeah SoR4 is a fantastic game and the Switch version is just perfect as well.

I remember playing and loving SoR2 on my Game Gear back in the day, could scarcely imagine then just how awesome a portable brawler would be in the future!

£20ish for the arguably the three best Final Fantasies, one fully remastered in digital form is an absolute steal. It'd be impossible to regret that purchase.
