I think some of the clothing options in 1 are just as bad. But those are options and not the defaults which in the vast majority of cases were fine.

XC2 did have some really nice female character designs and outfits as well which makes it even more annoying that some were so questionable

I think it would be the better option as I assume most people play the switch in handheld mode most of the time and as such 4k isn't needed.

I’d much prefer 1080p at 60fps and for them push higher graphical settings at 1080p/60fps before they try and move to 1440p/4k. In handheld I’d have thought 1080p is more than enough with the current screen size or if they opt for a bit bigger next time. As upscaling seems to be getting better needing to push for native 4K like the other consoles might not be quite as important either for the Switch going forward but this will probably depend on what version of the Tegra gets used for it.

How do ladies in Japan survive into old age and not die from hypothermia if they all wear clothes like that?

I don't know much about Japan but I hear it can get quite nippy.

I actually don't care so much about Dahlia. She's not great, but she's an optional extra and also themed entirely around beauty. If I wasn't convinced they were taking her seriously I could see her as some distorted parody of the beauty ideal. It's Pyra that grinds my gears most (no :capnscotty:

) because it's completely non-fitting for her personality.

HDR and ray tracing would be very nice, would be very happy if Nintendo just decided to top out at 1080p/60fps for the time being and focus on other things like HDR. This way as the technology advances further we’ll hopefully just see better battery life and enhancements to other areas of the console rather than chasing pure power which as of late most Nintendo games don’t need to look amazing.

Honestly, if this next gen rolls around and games still aren't 60fps, I will laugh.

This should have happened this gen.
